Welcome to our family vacation home!
We are Military friendly and greatly appreciate your service and your family's commitment to our country.
My Mom and Dad moved our family to Oregon in 1962. On advice of a family friend, my parents brought us for a visit to Sisters Oregon in 1967 because my Dad was missing the large pine trees from the East Coast. One visit to this Central Oregon oasis was all it took to make us believers! They bought property in 1967, built a cabin in 1971, remodeled in 1981, and built a new addition in 1991. The house is 1968 square feet now.
I worked and spent most of my childhood summers in Sisters. I have so many great memories of hiking, fishing, hitting the lakes, horseback riding, cycling, and just enjoying the high desert climate.
This house has high vaulted ceilings with large exposed wood beams, the walls are mostly cedar. The living room has plush new leather couches and recliners to read and chat. The family room has movies, ping-pong, a bistro area, and a large area to play. The front and back decks allow a summer breeze to play off Juniper trees and Ponderosa pines. In the winter, the expansive windows allow a beautiful view of falling snow as you enjoy a warm fire and a good book.
In addition to great events such as the Quilt Show, the Sisters Rodeo, the Antique Show, etc., Sisters has everything you need to keep you comfortable and entertained. The shops are fun, the food is great, and there are full service stores to keep you stocked!

We live in Portland and stay busy with work, kids, and activities. We want to share the peace, quiet, and relaxation that my family has experienced for so many years with you.
This great property has been passed from one generation to the next in our family.
I used the words RELAX and OASIS to describe the feeling you get in this area. The hustle feels miles away. You can be active and do everything or decide to do nothing.....both work well!
