New detached 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa overlooking the sea at the front & lake at the back in the pretty village of Bogazici 23 km from Bodrum. All rooms have their own balcony. On the roof is a lovely terrace with brick built BBQ and small kitchen. Additional BBQ beside the pool. The main kitchen & lounge overlook the garden & pool. The villa is on a complex containing four large outside pools, indoor pool, aqua park, tennis court, gymnasium, supermarket, restaurant & private bus. There is a private beach with restaurant & bar which is served by a cable car a short distance away. Bodrum airport is less than half an hour & we can arrange transfers for you if you wish. Everything is provided for your stay including beach towels, shower gel, shampoo & soap. Just lay back & enjoy the sunshine! The villa has full air conditioning & heating in case it gets chilly in the autumn. Downstairs terrace has shade, & there is a shower beside the pool. Dining table seats 8, 2 white sofas.

Bogazici is a quiet fishing village 23kms from the busy town of Bodrum. Buses go regularly to Bodrum where you can visit the castle, take a boat trip to Kos or Rhodes or simply empty your credit card in the many shops. Travel in the other direction and you can visit the major town of Izmir, where there is another airport and a major shopping centre. To the east is Milas where you can see rugs being made and it is a very picturesque old town. Of course the area is literally brimming with ancient sites and wonderful history. Food is varied and plentiful with a whole variety of cuisines in Bodrum and Izmir. Turkish food, Italian, English, fast food and most cuisines are available not far away. This is an ideal centre for exploring the area, the people and the wonders that make up Turkey. There are some lovely quiet beaches nearby and the area has something for everyone.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of £200 is charged and returned when you leave upon the management team's inspection of the villa. The rental cost includes maid service once per week, additional service is available but please contact us for the price. We require full payment 6 weeks before you travel. Last minute bookings can also be accepted. All linen, towels and beach towels are included, as is shampoo, shower gel and soap. Electricity costs are also included, but if your consumption has been exceptional then we reserve the right to make a charge.

  • All bathrooms are plain white, white suite with white tiles. The showers have proper cubicles with doors (no shower curtains!). The ground floor shower is a walk in shower. There is a shaver point in each bathroom, mirror with light above, glass shelf, toothbrush holder and glass soap dish.

  • On the first floor the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with its own balcony. Two other bedrooms are on the first floor, one is a double with two single beds which can be made up as a double if you would prefer and this room shares a bathroom with the single bedroom. These bedrooms all have balconies. On the ground floor is another double bedroom which has two single beds that can be made up as a double bed if you wish and has its own balcony. This room faces the front of the house and has a patio door onto the ground floor terrace. There is another shower room on this floor. Every bedroom has wardrobes with mirrored sliding doors, bedside table & lamp, air conditioning with remote control and is decorated in neutral colours. All towels and beach towels are provided, and linen is Egyptian cotton. Duvets are provided for winter and all windows & doors have mosquito screens.

Notes: Elderly and infirm should note that they can reach the beach quite easily on the cable car. However if it is not running then it is a steep walk to the beach. Whilst there are no steps from the villa to the rest of the complex, it is quite a steep walk back from the complex! There are many facilities on the complex which mean that it is not essential to go to the beach. The onsite restaurant and supermarket means that you do not have to travel for your supplies. The villa is only suitable for a maximum of 2 infirm people as there is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. It is hilly on the site. Although there is a fireplace we would rather that guests do not light the fire but use the air conditioning units which also supply heat. We normally provide maid service once a week, but this can be more often if required at an additional cost. We would ask that plastic glasses are used around the pool area to avoid injury if a breakage should occur. The pool is cleaned daily.

Golf: A new championship golf course is under construction. A pitch and putt golf course is already in use, as is the Vita Park Course. Although a car is not essential, we would recommend you consider hiring a car as the village of Bogazici is very small. Everything you require is on the complex but it is nice to visit the area. You can get to most places by public transport. There is an onsite office which arranges tours and car hire. The onsite supermarket is open until midnight, and there is a bar and restaurant onsite too. If you fancy a massage there is a really good hammam, and a small gymnasium. The mini golf is great for little ones and bigger ones too and is free. There is a children's playground which is in a safe area, and baby sitting can be arranged if you need it. Cots can be hired along with high chairs too. Everything is here for an ideal family holiday, you can do qas much or as little as you like. The villa has a nice garden with several levels.

Diving: Diving can easily be arranged, you may prefer to book courses and dives in Bodrum where there are several PADI dive schools.

Flights: Whilst Bodrum is the nearest airport, it is sometimes difficult to purchase flights early or late in the year, sometimes these flights are very expensive at the height of the season too. Izmir airport is about 3 hours away but has a very good bus service to Bodrum. Dalaman airport is about the same distance.

I have just come back with my husband daughter son inlaw and 3 grandchildren from staying in this villa for 2 weeks,we had a wonderful time the villa is spacious well laid out and has everything in it that you need,the kids loved the aqua slides and the owner Frances was really lovely and could not have been more helpful would recommend this villa and complex for a smashing holiday we will use it again Diane in Harlow Essex
