Our unit is number 304 of the Maui Kai complex, located direct ocean front on Kaanapali beach!

PANORAMIC Ocean Front/Ocean View of Molokai and Lani is the best spot for whale watching and to see Maui’s sunsets.

Maui Kai is nestled under the tropical trees in Kaanapali- Maui Kai is one of Kaanapali's only and best direct ocena front condo complex. The view is unlike anything else on Kaanapali. You can fall asleep listening to the waves, and enjoy year round breathtaking sunsets on the lanai.

Maui Kai is located just a few hundred feet from the new walking trail that runs along Kaanapali Beach where there are fantastic restaurants such as Duke's, Hula Grill, Leilani's, Whaler's Village and more!

Maui Kai is set back from the road, so there is absolutely no road noise, only waves and the trade winds!

Parking is abundant and free of charge!

Our condo is personally decorated and complete with all the amenities you will need to ensure a comfortable and exciting vacation. King bed in the master bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, a convertible couch, wireless (and wired) internet and 2 flat screen HDTV's (cable and DVD players included) are some of the amenities you will enjoy

Nearby Kaanapali and Kapalua offer spectacular world class golf courses!

Snorkeling and swimming with the turtles is just a few of the fun things that Maui Kai has to offer.

We are a short walk from to the local Farmer’s Market (every Monday, Wednesday & Friday), coffee shop, grocery store, local fresh fish market, movie rental and restaurants!

Why Jason chose Honokowai

Our property is one of few properties that are literally on the edge of the beach with a full ocean view. We chose this condo because it is smaller than most other complexes; we value the relationships formed with our neighbors and lobby staff during our visits. We consider our condo complex 'boutique'- it doesn't feel like a resort (where you are just a room number among hundreds). Maui Kai is the perfect place for our family.

Unforgettably Amazing

What can I say, this place exceeded our expectations in every way! Before we even got there, the owners were so nice in answering all our questions and gave us some amazing information and suggestions. (Thanks Theresa!)

The Condo had amazing views great location and everything was very clean. The Beds were confortable, AC was great (though we barely used it since we left the door open to let the breeze in). Support staff were super quick too if we needed anything. Seriously, the owners have taken the time to create a wonderful home away from home. They thought of everything down to the laundry detergent and dryer sheets (Though we bought more and left it there because we didn't know they had it). There is no beach right in front when we went but it was great to literally be almost right in the Ocean! We even got to see Sea Turtles right below us and watched whales jumping and playing for a good 3 hours, right on the Lanai!

The beach is just to either side of the condo, and if you walk a little, you can get to Whaler's Village for shopping and restaurants and everything! Super close to Black Rock as well!

Overall, Amazing place! Talking about it now makes me miss Maui so much! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent accommodation, accurate description. We had a couple minor problems and the service that was provided for such problems was very helpful and they responded quickly.

Great place

This property is exactly as listed in the description. The views are wonderful, Molakai, Lanai and Whales, Whales, Whales. When we first got there, we stepped out onto the large lanai and saw whales, blowing, jumping and diving along the channel. It was amazing.
The property is right on the water, you couldn't be closer unless you were in a boat. The noise from the surf is constant and soothing. There are surfers, snorkelers, kayaks, canoes and other water activities right there. You can walk to resturaunts and shopping is within walking distance too.
The kitchen was well equipped and there is a barbecue available.
The pool area/recreation clubhouse was nice. It has a kitchen, library, pingpong, barbecue, hot tub and pool. Very pleasent place to spend time if you're tired of the surf.
The condo was plenty large with a nice separate bedroom. There is a comfortable king size bed there with closets and dressers.
The lanai is spacious with couches and chairs and a small table. The two TVs worked fine with plenty of stations. They lend DVDs from the office for a couple of bucks. The kitchen was well equipped. There is beach stuff in the closets: Bogies boards, cooler, beach chairs, other stuff.
Maui Kai has only about a hundred units. It is surrounded by much larger properties and you will appreciate the ease of getting around the condo building. There is plenty of parking close to the building.
This is really a great place. I can't recommend it highly enough. The only gripe I can come up with is there are rocks in the water and you need water shoes to go in. Not a big deal but I thought I should mention it. Get the shoes before you go, you will need them.

Wonderful vacation at Maui Kai

My husband and I just returned having spent 4 nights in this great condo; the view from the Lanai was superb! One of our favourite features was the large lanai and outdoor furniture. It was a great way to watch the whales and just generally relax. The proximity to the boardwalk and beach were just some of the other great features. We can't wait to return!
