Come enjoy a month at a spacious ocean view condo that has the perfect location in Kailua-Kona. You can walk to the heart of town in about five minutes or you can simply cross the street and catch a wave at Honl’s Beach.
Alii Cove is the newest condo complex in Kona and the closest one to town. The complex is gated and beautifully landscaped. You’ll have the use of a resort-style pool and spa, fitness room, and BarBQ/picnic area. There are 4-unit and 6-unit buildings scattered throughout the site. Alii Cove doesn’t feel like a cement monolith, as some other condos do.
This particular unit is special because it is at the top of the complex where the panoramic views are the best. You’re also away from the street noise on Alii Drive. This condo’s gorgeous new tropical furnishings will never let you forget that you that you are indeed in Paradise.
This is a big unit...1377 square feet, including lanai.
We love the layout. You enter on the second story of the building and find yourself face-to-face with the ocean view and the ocean breeze. The bedrooms, baths, and kitchen are on that level. There is a huge loft upstairs that has an ocean view from the front and a mountain view from the back.
This condo comes with EVERYTHING. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, utensils, plates, glassware…you name it. There’s a blender, coffee pot, toaster, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, beach towels, picnic cooler, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, HUGE flat-screen TV, and a washer/dryer right in the unit. All linens, including beach towels, are provided.
Dine at the kitchen table, at the granite breakfast bar, at a bistro table in the master or in the loft, or on the lanai where you can watch the sunset and see the cruise ships come into port.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and oceanview sitting area. The attached bathroom has a tile shower and double sinks. The guest bedroom also has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have lots of storage space. You'll have plenty of room to stow your suitcases out of sight.
The loft upstairs has a queen Murphy bed, bistro table, and reading area. A balcony overlooks the living room.
This unit comes with a parking space that is right outside the unit. Unlike a lot of other units at Alii Cove, the parking lot and the building are on the same level; no need to climb steps to get from your car to the building. That makes for easy loading and unloading.
Another great benefit of this unit is that guests can park short-term on nearby Walua Road. So, there are no worries about parking if you have a party.
HOA rules require a minimum 30-day stay.

Why The Owner chose Kailua Kona
We've been vacationing in Kailua-Kona for years. We just love the warm weather and laid-back atmosphere. We decided to buy last year, but wanted something different than the 'boxcar' condo layout. This two-level ocean view condo at Alii Cove was perfect. The best thing is that you can walk to town.
What makes this condo unique
There are so many fun things to do in the area. You can drive south to the volcanoes and historical areas, east to Hilo, and north to resorts and beautiful beaches. Don't miss Hapuna Beach, about 30 minutes north of the condo. The 'Turtle Beach' is about 5 miles south of the condo along Alii Drive. Great snorkeling there.
Speaking of driving...Costco with its gas station is about 15 minutes away. It has the lowest gas prices we have found. Of course, COSTCO has everything else under the sun. Near Costco you will also find Home Depot, some consignment stores, and other interesting shops.
Safeway, Target, Lowes, and Ross are in town close to the condo. The International Market Place, which sells Hawaiian arts and crafts, is also nearby.
But you really don't have to drive anywhere. There is so much to do within walking distance. Every morning we walk to Kailua pier and watch the swimmers train. You can stand at the end of the pier and see the tropical fish RIGHT THERE. It's like standing over an aquarium. Sometimes we catch breakfast at Tante's on the way home.
Don't miss the Farmer's Market. It's right in town and open 6 days a week. We bought 6 papayas for $2!
The last time we were in Kona we spent 5 weeks and still wished we had more time.
