A lovely modern 2bedroom / bathroom holiday apartment in the Punta Lara urbanisation just to the West of Nerja. The apartment has a large sunny south-east facing terrace of 30m2 which gets the sun until late afternoon when the sun sets behind the mountains. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, ensuite 4-piece bathroom and opens right onto the terrace. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. Both rooms have built in wardrobes. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine as well as a large fridge/freezer. The terrace has a dining table and 4 chairs as well as two sunloungers and a BBQ. The lounge has a TV with Sky, DVD player and Radio/CD stereo system. Both bedrooms and the lounge have air-conditioning units which double as heating units in the cooler weather. The apartment is 2 mins walk from the beach and has several bars and restaurants within walking distance. Nerja town is 5 minutes away by local bus or taxi.

Punta Lara is a peaceful urbanisation just West of Nerja town which is right on a lovely sunny beach, El Playazo. Nerja has an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and frequent local markets and you can walk along the beach from Punta Lara right into town where there are restaurants dotted along the way. Things to see in the local area are the stunning natural Nerja Caves, the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary (always a hit with kids!), Frigiliana which is a lovely whitewashed town 3km inland with stunning view as well as lots of lovely walks or for the more adventurous some great hikes into the mountains of the Almijarra. Nerja has many lovely beaches - some quite remote such as La Caleta or El Canuelo or the famous Burriana beach in Nerja with many facilities, sunbeds and restaurants. El Olivar is perfect for those who want to stay in peaceful surroundings but want the option of a bustling town or beautiful rural surroundings in the stunning mountains around Nerja

This is a lovely little apartment ideally situated so you can roll out of bed and straight onto the beach. It’s very clean, fully equipped and the terrace overlooks a cute avocado grove as well as the sea. It also catches all the morning rays and is perfect for a barbeque at sunset. We went in October, the weather was amazing so the pool came in very handy to cool off in. We strolled along the beach into town most evenings for some tapas and sangria. There is plenty of information in the apartment about the local bars and restaurants. All in all, a great holiday - we are already planning out next stay here!

After staying in this apartment in Oct 2007 we just had to return and have just spent a fantastic 10 days there again! Apartment is fantastic: clean, well kept, modern and very comfortable with everything you might need for 5 people. 3 minute walk to the beach, on the Spanish side of Nerja (quieter than the East) with lots of friendly local restaurants nearby! The neighbours were very friendly and the small pool perfect for an early morning dip, or a laze in the sun all day!! The walk into town is approx 20 mins and really enjoyable especially after a lovely meal followed by a scrummy ice cream on the Balcon de Europe!! If you have a car there are plenty of places to visit nearby and further away - secluded beaches, caves, lovely white washed villages in the mountains - the owners should pride themselves on the effort they have gone to provide their tennants with details of these to make their stay one to be remembered. The location is great for people of all ages, my 18 yr old daughter & neice were perfectly safe out clubbing and taking a taxi home on their own... Amongst all the restaurants in town there are beautiful shops perfect for early evening browsing dotted along the labyrinth of lovely cobbled streets. The owners provided everything you could need for a fantastic holiday whether you choose to stay in and bbq or go out and try the local food & entertainment! We would definately recommend this place and hopefully will be visiting again soon!

Fantastic Holiday

This property provided a great base for our week holiday in Spain for family of 6. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The owners went the extra mile and provided beach umbrellas, straw mats, and even toys for the children for the beach. The communal pool was not used by the other occupants, so we had it to ourselves every time. The house was well equipped, the only recommendation to the owner is to stock up on more teaspoons. If you don't have a car, the trip in to Nerja could be difficult (although there are buses), but as we had one, it was not a problem and we enjoyed the peace of being out of town. It was mostly quiet, although the local hotel played music every evening (which we enjoyed rather than minded) and the neighbour's TV is audible. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends and we will be back again.
