Tearmann was completed in 2011 following a three year construction period. I designed the interior architecture and project managed the build... a lot of headaches along the way but delighted by the positive feedback we have had. We built to German Passive house (ultra low energy) standards using the phpp software program. We have a keen interest in beautiful buildings that leave a light footprint upon the earth and many years working in the health profession definately influenced the design of Tearmann. We wanted to create a light, quiet space close to nature for people to escape to. Working as an RN in Intensive Care and trained in Reflexology, Reiki, Sound Therapy and Spiritual Psychotherapy reinforced a respect for life, for self and for gifts received. Tearmann is a quiet space to ponder that.
