Ours new apartaments are located in the centre of Pinzolo. the apartments are entirely wooden finishing, Sud Tirol Style overlooking mountains, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, comfortable beds and furnishings.
Pinzolo is a small alpine village in Val Rendena, 15 km far from Madonna di Campiglio.
Val Rendena is a valley of little villages and Pinzolo is in Adamello Brenta Nature Park With 620km2 (over 153,000 acres) of nature, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park comprises, to the west, the Adamello-Presanella group and its majestic glaciers, roaring streams, spectacular waterfalls and beautiful lakes. To the east, the park embraces the spectacular Brenta Group, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Between these two geologically different realms, we find a great many valleys, such as Val Genova, Val Brenta, Vallesinella and other pristine offshoots, each with their own, enthralling landscapes.
Sausages and cheeses, polenta, mushrooms and wild game are typical Val Rendena delicacies.
The Val Rendena valley extends for approximately 20km (12.5mi) along the Sarca river, between the Dolomites Brenta Group and the Adamello Presanella group, and is dotted by numerous villages, each with its own special features and traditions.
The valley offers a great many opportunities for a mountain holiday, both in winter and in summer.
During the winter months, there is the Pinzolo ski area for alpine skiing with 30km (approx. 19mi) of slopes and a snowboard park, which will, connects with Madonna di Campiglio by way of a new ski lift, thereby forming the new Campiglio Val Rendena Val di Sole ski area. With 150km (93mi) of interconnected ski runs, it will be Trentino’s largest ski area.
The area around Pinzolo and the other towns in the valley also provide opportunities for cross-country skiing at the Carisolo ski area, as well as for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing, and for true thrill-seekers, there is also tandem paragliding with instructor from Doss del Sabion for a fantastic hawk’s eye view of the valley.
With the arrival of the summer sun, you can then go cycling on the bicycle trails or mountain biking on the Dolomites’ Brenta Bike circuit, or hiking in the mountains or along the valley through the lush Adamello Brenta Nature Park, as well as play golf or any of the other summer sports that the mountains have to offer.
Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo and Val Rendena are truly invigorating oases of beauty and wellness. The pure, cool water of the area is also a precious therapeutic tool.
The Fonte S. Antonio spa in Caderzone Terme is an excellent place for treatments using mineral water from a spring at 1,000m (3,280ft) of elevation.
