Dear Janna, thank you for the amazing review. I find Roundhouse Farm just as enchanting as the first time I saw it 25 years ago. I will never tire of the beautiful views. Thank you.
I travel to Louisville every other month for business and this place is my home away from home. I've held several corporate parties and everyone raves how great this house is. My favorite part of my stay is sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake on the property. I would highly recommend the Round House for families, corporate gathering and weddings. Cant wait for my next visit to the Round House.
I have stayed at the Roundhouse Farm twice now - both were for a girls retreat. Each time was perfect! The house itself is well laid out and spacious... it's on a BIG piece of property, so you even feel secluded (even though it's near town). There's a grocery and liquor store nearby, so you can stock up. The views are breathtaking and having a pool and hot tub (and pool table!) on property are great. The owners were awesome about communication too, which is always reassuring. We'll definitely be back.
The name was confusing until we walked in and saw that the main house is indeed round, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a several acre lake. Spectacular views and a spacious house that fit our large family easily. Plenty to do for the kids with the swimming pool, room to roam and a pool table and dart board on the bottom floor. One of the most relaxing family vacations we have ever taken. We will be back.
We stayed here for my husband's birthday and invited 10 close friends and family. The house was great with amazing views and a great living room + kitchen to hang out with everyone. We did bourbon distillery tours and went to the Keeneland track and took walks in the evenings around the pond and beautiful fields. A gorgeous place to stay in the springtime, though we wish it had been warmer so we could have used the beautiful pool!
What a wonderful house and view is amazing- I however would say the there is a need for some maintenance to be done- over sized doors did not shut correctly, electrical outlets for toaster and coffee maker did not work. Needed more cleaning than what was done.
3 couples down for some bourbon tasting. For what we paid it would have been nice to have the Jacuzzi working outside. Restaurant recommendations by owner were terrific.
This place was more than we expected. I took a group of 10 down for the Louisville farm show and we had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to unwind and reasonably close for cab rides to and from downtown. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!
