TheBus, Oahu's award winning bus service has routes that will take you around the island from Kailua. Waikiki, Honolulu Harbor and the Historic Capitol District, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Iolani Palace are just a bus ride away. The home has complete bus routes and schedules for you. If you want to rent a car for a day or two, our town has a rental car agency that will pick you up from the home and take you to your rental car. They will return you to the home after you return the car.

Our high efficiency, high capacity washer and dryer automatically adjusts water levels and temperatures to each load. The detergents are also high efficiency formulas designed for front loading machines. Kitchen appliances are new and energy efficient. In November 2008 the home became part of a pilot project for recycling waste like mixed recyclables - bottles, cans, paper; green waste and trash.
