The apartment is on the second floor, it is furnished with a modern style. It offers an entrance, a sitting room with a sofa, two poltroons, a table for 8 sits, an accessorised kitchen, a double bed room and a three singles beds room, a bathroom with a comfortable shower with unlimited hot water. There are many food shops nearby. 5 minutes up the street there are several small shops, 3 supermarkets and 150 stairs downhill there is a big and chip fresh food outdoor market. The apartment is located in Monteverde district, a very calm area near Villa Pamphili, one of the largest parks in Rome . From there you can easily reach the historical parts of the city centre (PANTHEON, PIAZZA VENEZIA, LArgo DI TORRE ARGENTINA). In 15 minutes walk you'll arrive in Trastevere (where the typical PORTA PORTESE market takes place on sunday) and by just 1 stop of urban train you'll reach SAN PIETRO

Just down the street bus n. 871 takes you to Trastevere Station from where start bus n. 3 to Colosseo and Palatino At 200 meters 870 bus passes, it goes to San Pietro passing through the green hill of Gianicolo from where you have the best sight of Rome . VATICAN CITY can be also reached by only 1 urban train stop called QUATTRO VENTI STATION ( close to the apartment) from where you can connect to underground. At 300 metres there is a tram (no.8) by which you can reach Largo Di Torre Argentina, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trastevere district and on foot all city town. At few distance from the apartment , there are some supermarkets, a bit further, an excellent fresh food outdoor market, and several smaller shops 5 minutes up the street.

The apartment was exactly as described on the website. It was spotlessly clean and everything worked perfectly. The location of the apartment was excellent for sightseeing as the public transport (bus, train, tram) is very close and you are only minutes from the major attractions.

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Description in ad was accurate. Apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained, and looks over a very pretty little treed piazza. The owners were very friendly and generous, and helpful if there were any problems. Choosing not to have a car, and being happy to walk and use public transport was a great decision. We just bought a widely available public transport map of Rome, and a monthly transport pass and familiarised ourselves with the local system and its idiosyncrasies! A short bus and tram ride takes you over the Tevere into the heart of Rome where most of the famous attractions are within walking distance. If you have an aversion to, or difficulty with steps you probably need a car! At the back of the piazza are 150 steps down to a very comprehensive shopping strip. In the street itself are an assortment of shops and small businesses including an excellent pasticceria. If we have another chance of an extended stay in Rome we'd love to use this apartment again.

Great Apartment

The apartment was very clean and a good size for the 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 children (10 and under). It had all the facilities required for a pleasant stay where we were out all day and in cooking a meal later in the evening.
Down the hill from the apartment (about 100 metres) were 2 good fruit and veg shops and a very good general store with fresh cakes, cheeses, hams etc. A few metres up the hill was a great and cheap take away pizzeria, a local coffee shop and a good patisserie. There were a few restaurants on the main thoroughfare and also a butchers. We did pick up a few items from the local supermarket near the tram stop,
We didn't bother with the local buses and instead walked the short distance into the main part of Montevervde and caught the Number 8 tram into Rome each day - much easier, always had space and was quick. There is a good, cheap coffee shop near the tram stop which also has plenty of ice creams for children.
Rosella speaks great English and was very helpful in email correspondence and on the phone.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

We spent a week in Rositas clean, tidy and well-equipped and stylish apartment. The neighbors were very friendly and the area is quiet and safe. Dining and shopping resources were more limited than we expected, but Donna Olympia was an excellent pizzeria just a few hundred meters from the apartment. Unfortunately, we could not find a decent neighborhood supermarket. The closest good grocery store is located nearby tram stops. The buses went at irregular intervals, but, fortunately, walk to the tram was reasonably short. We recommend the apartments for all who want to spend the nights in quiet and pleasant suburb, which, however, has reasonable transport links to downtown and to the airport. This apartment was excellent choice for our family.

Extremely comfortable accommodations

Thank you Rosella for your lovely apartment. As a family of 5 weary travellers trodding through Rome we took great comfort in relaxing in your apartment at the end of every day. The place is very nicely appointed, we enjoyed peaceful evenings on the balcony, and we made friends with the local grocer who was very helpful.

The only challenge we had, which was no reflection on the apartment, was figuring out the transportation (what buses ran on weekends? how the trains worked?) but we did eventually get the hang of it. I only mention it in case there is an opportunity to leave more detailed information for (confused) foreigners.

Thank you again. I will not hesitate to recommend your property to others.
