Easy access to Appalachian Trail, fishing, and horseback riding. Biltmore Estate and Grove Park Inn are just a 40 minute drive into Asheville NC.
Conveniently located off I-26 between Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN. A great getaway for the family or a quiet, romantic couples retreat!
Warm and cozy cabin. Very well kept and clean. More than enough room for this family of 4. Great views from front decks. Owners are accessible and easy to work with. Pictures of road, turn by turn, are very helpful too. Try to arrive before sunset as owner suggests. Only negative comment is the driveway. Can be a little dicey in wintertime conditions. 4x4 recommended. Overall great bang for the buck.
We came here to spend a long Thanksgiving weekend with our parents. The cabin is new and has all the things you would need. We cooked Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was well stocked. The only concern we had is that the road leading to the cabin and the driveway are very steep. I'm sure most people would have SUVs and all wheel drive, but unfortunately we did not. I was aware of this from the ahead of time and did not think there would be snow yet, but it happened to snow the night we got there. Luckily we did not have to go anywhere for a few days. Just something to look out for in the winter months, but overall I would recommend this rental to anyone and we travel quite a bit.
This cabin was great for our long weekend in the Asheville area. We are very picky when it comes to vacation rentals...we want them look nice and be super clean. This one was perfect!!! We came to the area to celebrate our daughters 16th birthday and she brought a friend with her...they loved the cabin and all the activities that were so close by. The Navitat Zipline adventure is close by and the Wolf Laurel Resort area had excellent hiking spots right in the neighborhood. The only thing we would change is TV in the master bedroom...my husband and I wanted to be able to separate a little from the teens at night and a TV there would have been nice. The owners were also very easy to work with. Highly recommend this cabin! It is much better in person than in the pictures...super clean and nice.

Would rate as excellent but driveway was very difficult to navigate. Owner was helpful and easy to contact. Photos accurate. Clean. We would definitely rent again.
My family of 5 (3 children under 3) found this lovely cabin at Wolf Laurel a true delight. We showed up after a long drive and found it close to the entrance of Wolf Laurel. We were in town to attend a wedding at Memory Mountain, less than a 5 minute drive from the cabin. The owners were so nice and easy to work with, and we found that there was lots of space for our children to run around and stretch out. It was the perfect getaway. We hope to return in a few years for a replay.
