If our calendar is booked on your desired dates look at our other Suite www.vrbo.com/450710 in the same building. We have lovingly restored it, keeping the ambiance of yesteryear with all the luxury amenities of modern living. Enjoy the privacy our suite has to offer as you have the upper floor, Bistro nook and slated patio with a tranquil water feature to enjoy! The location of the suite is unique as it is located on the Market in the very heart of downtown and not - as most vacation rentals - in adjoining residential neighborhoods. We are immediately across from the newly renovated Charleston City Market dating back to 1804. The Market area offers an abundance of shopping and nationally acclaimed restaurants that will prove to be a culinary delight. You are sure to find your pleasure by visiting one of America’s oldest museums, touring the harbor or the famous Ft. Sumter, strolling through the historical neighborhoods and sneaking views of private Charleston courtyard gardens. King Street, known for designer shopping and antiquing, is only a block away. We look forward to your visit.

About Terri and Carlos

While visiting the area we fell in love with the charm of the historical city and surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle. We moved to Charleston in 1999. The same year we opened One of a Kind, a gallery that features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artists as well as art by regional and local artisans. The gallery is located on the same street just a few doors down from the suite.

The location is second to none! This is the VERY BEST location in downtown Charleston!

What makes this studio unique

The building has a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream shop on the ground floor and opens up to a charming courtyard in the back. There is a complimentary trolly that stops immediately in front of our building. Bike taxis and horse drawn carriages are a popular way of getting around and discovering Charleston's historical treasures and landmarks dating back to the 1600s throuogh 1800s.

This is our 6th trip to Charleston and we've stayed at many expensive hotels over the years. The Market Suite was by far the best...beautiful room and décor and we felt right at home. The location is fabulous as we were able to walk to area restaurants, shops and stroll the beautiful harbor. The owners are very nice and accommodating and their attention to detail was great. We take an annual trip to Charleston and we will definitely stay here again. Can't say enough good things about our stay!!

This place is wonderful! The location cannot be beat. We came in for the bridge run which is Charleston's busiest weekend, and it was very quiet inside. We could tell the owners take very good care of their property.The suite is just beautiful. We are already looking forward to another visit!

What a great place!

Well, we couldn't ask for anything more. The studio was fabulous. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Terri was a great host and very accessible for any questions before and during our stay. The studio was in the perfect location to walk everywhere while site seeing, shopping, and eating out! We parked the car in the parking deck upon arrival and didn't use it again until we left 3 days later. The Keurig coffee maker was a plus for me in the mornings while my wife slept in. This was the perfect birthday gift for my wife and the weekend we had in Charleston will always hold fond memories. The city was gorgeous and the historical homes were fabulous. Thanks for a great time and we look forward to coming back!
