This newly decorated, first line, ground floor apartment with reverse cycle air-conditioning is situated right on the beach in the port of Alcudia. Guests can enjoy nicely presented gardens, two communal swimming pools.1 x 70 m² and depths of 1 m - 1.70 m and a separate children pool with direct access to the warm Mediterranean sea. The ‘promenade’ passes right in front of the apartment, 200 m left leads to the excitement and restaurants of Puerto Alcudia, right takes you on a romantic stroll along the edge of the beach until Can Picafort if you desire.

The location of the apartment could not be better, with a variety of shops, bars and entertainment within easy reach. The apartment has a spacious living room with dining area and, for alfresco dining; the adjoining balcony has spectacular views. There is a separate kitchen with modern appliances and two bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate toilet. Note: Swimming pool operates from May-October. Surrounding area available all year

Walking/Trekking: Walking/Trekking the north of Mallorca with its vast mountain range is prime walking country. Why not visit Mallorca in Autumn and Spring when the weather is cooler, and ideal for both walking and cycling? Why not walk or cycle around the S'Albufera Nature Park (Alcudia), it is the largest and most important wetland area in the Balearics? The area is a former lagoon separated from the sea by a belt of dunes, which has converted into an extensive flood plain. The Natural Park which stretches across some 1708 hectares of marsh and dune land is a protected conservation region. The area is an internationally protected area for wild birds, and is home to considerable wildlife.

Do not forget the Iron Man event that takes place every year this is right outside the apartment, great location for all of the all year round cycling that takes place on the island.

Amenities: Beach on your door step. Local shops, restaurants, chemists, banks, supermarkets, museum and hospital can be found within less than a mile from the villa. Bus service on your door step linking the old town of Alcudia with the Port of Pollensa and old town of pollensa. Other way linking your to Can Picafort. Good service also to other parts of the island including Palma. Train station approx 20 min drive away. Close to motorway access. Nearby there is a Indoor gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, tennis, paddle courts, all within a short walk away, also shows/discos. Local Activities: Bicycle hire, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, wind-surfing. One of the biggest/fastest go-carting tracks can be found in C'an Picafort.

Cycling/Golf: Alcudia is the main centre for cycling, attracting thousands of cyclists to its bicycle friendly roads with its spectacular scenery. Even the casual cyclist can rent a bike here and enjoy many hours cycling along the specially designated cycle tracks which lie next to many major roads.

Alcanada (Alcudia) is a championship standard 18 hole golf course, with stunning sea views from almost every fairway and is approx 5 min drive away. Not to be left out, non-players can enjoy a sumptuous lunch from the clubhouse terrace. Pollensa Golf Club is approx a 15 min drive away.

We were very happy with our stay. Listing/layout was very accurate. Good and friendly customer service. Clean property, Well maintained.

Great Location

The location of the apartment was excellent, with everything we needed within easy walking distance. The apartment description was slightly misleading - if there was a washing machine then it was very well hidden, it definitely wasn't inside the apartment. Also the description says Bathroom with toilet plus separate toilet, when in fact there was only one toilet, separate from the bathroom.
These small niggles aside, we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend it to others.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: The washing machine is in the kitchen area. Inside the door with the boiler in it! By the window.
The website does state what each room contains regarding the bathroom / toilet room.

Lovely Spot

We enjoyed staying in the apartment, it was in an excellent position for the beach and other facilities. It was well appointed with modern fittings. We chose to hire a car but parking in peak season would be difficult as there is no allocated space. The town was packing up at the end of the season but there were still some sun loungers on the beach for hire. Lovely beach , safe water for the kids and showers to wash yourself off after a dip. beach bar was friendly and convenient. Alot of mosquitoes in the apartment my 5 year old got absolutely covered in bites on his face over night so mossie repellant is recommended. Went to visit Caves of Hams, were aiming for caves of Drach but the Disneyfied 'Hams' mislead us with signage on the road so we ended up paying loads more for a worse, tacky experience, make sure you head into Porto Cristo and don't follow all the large signs for the caves more in land, you need to head to the coast 19 Euros for a liquour, postcard, 30 min 'cinema' show of nothing to do with caves at all then finally a whistle-stop whip through the caves with a coach load of tourists - rip off! Lots of beautiful scenery to be explored around Alcudia so were really pleased we'd hired a car. lovely area would hope to return one day.

July 2010 family holiday with small children

Apartment is very well maintained with all facilities needed.It is also right in the town near to the harbour making everything very accessible.Being right on the beach was great with small children , no need to take bags,clothes or even towels with us as it is a few seconds from the seafront to the freshwater shower outside the apartment door and then straight in to dry off ...no sand!!. balcony at floor level was great to people watch and easy to retrieve stuff thrown over by my one year old.
Could do with at least one english TV channel on the TV though...I could just about understand the spanish news and the incomprehensible weather reports but not much else.
Everyone in resort was very friendly and helpful...especially the restaurant across the road who held my key for me to collect and also helped me out a lot with a complicated problem without batting an eyelid later .....they also serve tremendous food!
Unfortunately Alcudia is very expensive to eat either out or in , even buying food from the out of town supermarket brought it down to affordable so most of our spending money went on food.
We can however can recommend hiring a speed boat/motor launch from the habour , very cost effective for a family whole day out when compared even to a two hour 'organised' trip on one of the many big boats in the bay.
Also if you plan to visit the waterpark in alcudia remember there is a no food or drink policy from outside and on some days they will search your bag on entry.....hide those drinks well!!
Weather was great, buses crowded, locals very friendly, food wonderful, sea warm and safe, apartment in the best place to see all alcudia has to offer.

Overall i would recommend this apartment to families or couples as it is self contained and convenient for all the resort and very well maintained.

Great Location on the Beach

The apartment was clean, tidy and accurately described. It felt very much like a home from home. The beach location is ideal for children and the grass area adjacent to the veranda gave somewhere to play when not on the beach. The beach itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. The sea shelves very gently providing an ideal shallow water place for the children to play safely. Port d'Alcudia is close at hand with a selection of good restaurants and bars. Debra, our host, was particularly helpful, providing a comprehensive tour of the apartment, useful local knowledge and a point of contact. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Alcudia and would recommend it to friends.

- Location. Not only is the apartment on the beach front line but it has wonderful views of the marina together with the benefit of two communal swimming pools. The apartment is 200 m from the Port of Alcudia with all its attractions and full range of amenities. Alcudia bay is the largest bay on the island with all water sports available. A car is not necessary as there are a constant flow of buses, taxis and horse carriages all waiting to take you anywhere on the island, however there are some wonderful places easily accessible on foot, especially the beautiful, walled, old town of Alcudia with it's twice weekly market - not to be missed.
