Tenerife:
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands it is 130km across at its widest point and 90km from north to south. Tenerife enjoys all year round sunshine and the average temperature is 23 degrees. In the centre of the island is the impressive volcano Mount Teide the highest point in spanish territory. There are many places of interest including the hidden village of Masca, the town of Garachico with its volcanic rock pools and ancient church and small fortress, the famous Dragon Tree at Icod de las Vinos and the stupendous cliffs of Los Gigantes. There are numerous beachs and coves along the coast all accessible with varying facilities. The new Siam Park in Las Americas is a must for families as is the Jungle Park in Los Cristianos. In Puerto de la Cruz is the world famous Loro Park, a park with the largest collection of parrots in the world and also the home to performing dolphins, sea lions and orcas, a fun day out for all the family.
Callao Salvaje:
The location of Callao Salvaje could not be better it is central to most activities. Those wishing to play golf are spoit for choice, there are several courses just 10 minutes away by car, the newly opened Abama course, Adeje Championship course and the smaller Los Palos to name just 3. Excursions up Mount Teide and the mountain village of Masca are most enjoyable and there is also a twice weekly fast ferry trip to La Gomera one of the smaller Canary Islands where the famous whistling language across the valleys is still used and taught in the schools of La Gomera, a demonstration of this whistling is included in the excursion. All these and many more activities can be booked through the excursion shop in the village.
Callao Salvaje has a good selection of restaurants and cafe bars to suit all tastes, there are also a few late bars for night owls.
Villa Lola:
Villa Lola is situate in a quiet and peaceful location on Sueño Azul. It is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, and for your further comfort there is air conditioning in both bedrooms.
The heated pool has been designed to allow all bathers to enter the pool with confidence. The steps leading into the pool are broader than standard, the final step is also longer allowing bathers to take several steps before entering the actual pool. This is ideal for bathers who need more time to plunge in and for the smaller child to enjoy the pool without being out of their depth. Added to this feature are four handrails, two at the shallow end and two at the deeper end. For your safety there are non slip tiles in the wet area around the pool, although care must still be taken.
