Constructed in 1959, this unique villa has many distinctive architectural features, including an open concept entrance, kitchen and dining area. The entire living space is conveniently situated on the same level, no stairs. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a seperate library/den. Two large guest bedrooms are situated in a more private wing of the villa.
The south patio off the living room and the west patio off the kitchen highlight the gardens and surroundings.There is ample space for parking in front of the house and one place in the garage. A separate caretaker apartment (not for rent) is located in the basement level.
Magnificent panoramic views dominate the south facing property in all directions. The extensive gardens include rose beds, a small orchard, berry and herb gardens, and many mature trees. A large portion of the garden including the in-ground pool are enclosed by a link fence, secure for small children and pets. There is also a “Boule” court, often used in the summer for croquet.

This Swiss Villa was the principal residence of the famous British author A.J. Cronin (Dr. Finlay's Casebook, The Keys of the Kingdom, The Citadel).The property has remained in the Cronin family ever since. As the third generation owner, I am the grandson of A.J. Cronin. After a long career in international marketing, I now teach business strategy as a university professor locally in Switzerland and in Canada. My hobby is restoring old motorcycles.
