Large (195sq m) South facing apartment, sleeps 6 overlooking main pool

This luxury 2 bedroom, 1st floor apartment is fully air-conditioned and furnished to a very high standard. One of the largest apartments on the development at 195 square metres, the spacious living area contains dining table and 6 chairs, sofas, coffee table, side table, 40 inch LCD TV, Sky box, DVD/CD player. The lounge has the benefit of two balconies, both south facing, with table and chairs overlooking swimming pools and landscaped gardens. The L-shaped living room can be divided by extending the concealed full height wooden dividers to create a totally private sleeping area which has its own sofabed, air-conditioning unit, bedside table and lamp. Parque da Corcovada is served by local cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the famous 'Strip' with its numerous bars, discos and restaurants. Nearby attractions such as Zoomarine and Slide and Splash will keep the children entertained and for golf lovers the Algarve is renowned for having some of the finest courses in Europe.

Parque da Corcovada lies to the east of Albufeira and is ideally located for trips attractions such as 'Zoomarine' and 'Slide and Splash' as well as theme parks, water sports and golf. The world famous 'Strip' is a short walk away with its many bars restaurants and shops. This leads to the local beach of Praia de Oura. Or take a walk to the historic 'Old Town' with its delightful square surrounded by restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets and plenty of pubs and bars. Fishermans beach can be accessed from the old town and further along the beach is the ultra-modern marina and fishing harbour.

  • The apartment has 2 full bathrooms as well as a separate toilet in the hallway. All are fully tiled and equipped with large vanity units, mirrors, wash basin and ample cupboard space.

  • The master bedroom is air-conditioned, and leads to its own balcony. The room has 2 bedside cabinets with lamps and a dressing table, wall mirror and chair. There are also fitted wardrobes and drawer space. En-suite bathroom with bath and over-bath shower, toilet and bidet. Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned, has twin beds which can be zipped together to form a double, a bedside cabinet and lamp as well as ample fitted wardrobes and drawers. A full length mirror is mounted on the wall. Both rooms have electronic shutters over the windows. A large sofabed is located in the 'L-shaped' lounge. This clever design enables a separate sleeping area to be created by extending a full height wooden divider which is concealed within the wall. This area has its own air-conditioning unit, bedside cabinet and chair. A single Z-Bed is also available.

Notes: The hall contains a 5 sq. metre storage room which is ideally suited for storing suitcases, golf clubs and general clutter. The hall also features fitted wardrobes for additional storage and contained therein is a key operated safe for guest use. Further along the hall opposite the master bedroom there are even more fitted wardrobes. You will be amazed at the amount of storage space available in this apartment. An ironing board, iron, clothes airer are also available for guest use. If you rent a property in Portugal on a temporary basis, it must be licensed under the regime Alojamento Local (Local Lodging), and subject to inspections to ensure that certain safety and convenience criteria have been met. This property has been granted such a licence and a plaque is affixed to the wall in the hall in evidence of this.

Excellent apartment and helpful owner (tony)

Been to albufeira several times but went private for the first time and was not disappointed. Owner (Tony) couldn't have done anymore and even recommended a friend ( Pat at BJ's Canadian Bar) who arranged for me to join him and friends for a game of golf. Fab apartment with everything you could want (including Sky plasma tv ) is in an ideal location and as previously described is more the size of a house than an apartment. Also south facing and adjacent to the largest swimming pool on the complex. Will definitely be returning later on in the year. That is if Tony still has availability ??

What more can I say!!!

What can I say that hasn't been said before, this apartment is absolutely fantastic. This year was the second time we have stopped in it and it won't be the last, can't wait to go again!!!

Tony is exceptional in his communication before and after you travel, a true professional and everything goes like clockwork, transfers everything.

We did eat out a few times this holiday although cooking in this apartment is a pleasure. We had a meal in Rania's which is over the Globe roundabout and down on the right hand side, they give you a leaflet stating a 3 course meal is 8.95 euros but when your're actually in there unless you ask this isn't offered although the meals we had weren't expensive and were really lovely. We also had an indian in the Balti restaurant, opposite Rania's, this wasn't cheap but was georgeous. The best chinese we found was the China Imperial down at the bottom of the Strip just set back a little bit on the left hand sign.

All in all, a great apartment and holiday, can't wait to go back!!!! No hesitation to recommend to family and friends although not until I've booked again!!!!

Fantastic apartment

This apartment is big enough to get lost in. It says 2 bedrooms, but really it should read as 3. Where the sofabed is in the section off of the dining room, you could easily have that sectioned off as a room during your stay, as it has it's own door and have the sofa bed as a bed for the whole holiday with no disturbances. There is another double door into the lounge at the other end. It took me a few days to get my bearings when we arrived. I actually think the cupboard when you enter the apartment, on the left, is bigger than my 3rd bedroom at home. There is plenty of wardrobe space, hangers, etc. dryers for damp towels, instructions in drawers for every electrical appliance in the apartment. 2 hairdryers, many plug adaptors, if you wanted picnics there is tupperware galore in the cupboards in the kitchen. The rep showed us how to use things and gave us info on arrival and sets of keys and directions to supermarkets. I would suggest going by car to the 'modelo' hypermarket if you are going. It is the biggest and had best selection. We only found it on the last day. We WILL be coming back though and that will be our first port of call ! The pool was cold (april) but that did not stop the kids going in. Everyone is friendly, everyone spreads the word for good places to eat. We walked in the evening for meals, but did drive to beaches in the day. It is NOT really a high heel shoe place as it is made up of 3" squares of flat paving everywhere, like slippy cobblestones. This apartment is great, not too far from faro by car, close to vilamoura for a trip out for golf or meal by the marina, great if you want to get out and play golf as there are loads of local courses, the little train that runs round Albufeira offers you a cheap all day ticket to get on and off between here and the old town too, which is a good deal. I found that (when we did have a few really hot days) it was nice to be on the beach until about 2pm ish and then return to the calmness of the pool of the apartment. The kids enjoyed themselves very much. Management stand for no sun bed reserving here via towels on the beds etc..and they make sure that ample umbrellas are put out on scorching days. It is maintained to a high standard all round the complex and longer staying residents are really friendly. Top notch Rental apartment. Would highly recommend.

Has to be seen to be believed!!

Whilst other reveiws and the description state that this is a large apartment, we still couldn't believe the sheer size. It's huge..

All dealings with the owner Tony, were professional, but friendly, with Tony also arranging our resort transfers, which were great too. He also contacted us promptly on return to arrange return of the breakage deposit and asking for our comments, good or bad. The only comments I could give were good

The apartment itself is lovely, and the location is ideal, within walking distance of The Strip, the Old Town, and various beaches, but also far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise.

The on site Corcovada Club is handy for snacks, and also has mini golf and a small playpark which is handy for filling in a little time if you have small children.

We travelled with family, who booked a seperate apartment on the ground floor. Their apartment was classed as a 3 bed apartment, was more expensive, but was nowhere near the size of this one.

Should you choose to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped, however if like me that's not your idea of a holiday, there is no end to the number of bars and restaraunts within walking distance. We favoured Rania's on nearby Est Santa Eulalia, and would highly recommend the Portuguese steak. We ate there a number of times and the staff and food were top class.

All in all, we had a great time at this apartment, and are already hoping to return in October. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.

Fantastic apartment great location

This is our 6th new year in Albufeira and this was by far the best apartment we have stayed in. We have stayed at this compex before but the apartment was on the main road. This apartment is set well away from the road and being on the 1st floor doesnt feel like everyone can see in unlike the ground floor apartments.

The apartment is huge, there is so much storage space.It was clean and tidy and the air conditioning helped warm the bedrooms on a night.

The 2 front balconies were sun traps all day, there is another balcony at the back which the sun didnt reach in the winter but it was a good size.

We were met by Kelly as soon as the we were dropped off and she showed us round.

Tony was in contact before we went with all the relevant information and there was a welcome home email when we returned with the damage deposit returned the same day.

The apartment is close to the strip but not affected by noise and there were bars and restaurants even closer which were quieter.

A taxi to the old town was about 4 euros, we used the number in the apartment and the taxi was there within minutes.

We will definately use this apartment again.
