We built this custom home as a family retreat from our busy lives in Los Angeles. It has a sense of nature and convenience that makes it hard to leave for everyone. With the 3 levels it is easy to accommodate everyone's needs.. from the big screen TV, great family dinners and the private master suite..step into luxury with a mountain lake twist. Our son and daughter have had wonderful times up with their friends. Great times for our extended families as well.

What makes this house unique

Running stream in the backyard provides a calming background. Flat drive in makes it easy to drive in with snow with direct access to the house. Flat area in the back is perfect for kids to build snowmen while you watch from the 3rd floor window with hot chocolate in hand (really!). Read a book on the covered 2nd deck or move into the sun. Take a steam shower after a hard day on the slopes or shopping. Kitchen is filled with every convenience imaginable and every Williams Sonoma gadget. Easy access to Lake Arrowhead Village.

We have rented a couple of homes before in Lake Arrowhead for a weekend in the winter and this was the best experience we have had to date. The owner made everything very easy (unlike some other owners in the area) and even included a very well thought out email about the house and activities in the area. The house was perfect for our needs except for the lack of televisions in the bedrooms but even that added a little to the weekend as everyone had to hang out together.

Vacationing with fresh snow

The vacation home was very spacious, clean and well furnished. We had a great time with 2 adults, 2 nine year old boys and a toddler. Walking behind the house along the creek was great for the kids and a neighbor kid showed us a wonderful hill nearby for sledding. Fresh snow fell during our stay which was absolutely amazing! The coffee maker was a bit intimidating (even with the instruction booklet) but everything else made sense and was usable in the home. We did not miss having anything. Ordered out for delivery, went shopping to the village and ate home sometimes and ate on the road too - Rocky's Roadhouse was great.

A delightful weekend in a pleasant and well-appointed home. The property was exactly as advertised, clean, and in great condition.

Fully equipped kitchen for serious cooks. Spacious and comfortable living areas.
The kids and the dog loved walking in the woods behind the home.

The owner was helpful and pleasant in all our interactions.

Highly recommended.

This property was perfect and had all the creature comforts to make our stay feel like a home away from home (nice sheets, towels, candles and even fresh flowers). Everything was clean, smelled wonderful and the kitchen had everything a cook could want. We cooked in every night and used the grill outside on the deck. Our dogs loved to sun bath on the deck and the owners even provided dog bowls, beds and toys for our pups. I can't say enough good things about this property. The owners were very accommodating and made everything very easy and hassle free. I can't wait to stay again. I miss it already!

Wonderful house!

This house is amazing! We stayed there in August with 6 adults and had plenty of room. The location is nice, as it is an easy drive to the Village area for shopping. All the bedding and linens are high quality, as are the furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware. The stove is great to cook on and there is a double oven, as well. The steam shower in the one bathroom was lovely. The house is quiet and it's a very relaxing environment ~ the deck on the middle level is particularly nice, we sat out there reading and listening to the stream behind the house and the birds. The owner was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house.
