Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 0-4)

3 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath cottage with up-to-date kitchen, dining room, living room with stone fireplace, screened-in summer living room/porch, large deck off kitchen with dining table, picnic table and occasional chairs leading to detached summer study and outdoor kitchen, all on expansive landscaped grounds. Very private and cozy.

The entire cottage is tongue-and-groove hemlock painted white with original refinished wood floors.

There is central heat and a/c, along with a gas fireplace in the living room.

This is a very well-maintained, up-to-date cottage with high-end furniture and furnishings, including a piano.

It sits on nearly an acre of landscaped grounds at the corner of Highland and Knapp, adjacent to the Boys And Girls Club and Fawns.

About The Owner

My husband's family has been a part of Bay View for over 100 years. Our cottage was built in 1928 and served, for a time, as the Sunday School for the Association.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 1984
Why The Owner chose Petoskey

The cottage sits on an expansive corner lot adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club and Fawns. The Bay View forest (over 200 acres) abuts the cottage to the South. Hall Auditorium and the Campus is a short walk away.

What makes this cottage unique

Go to www.bayviewassociation.org for a list of activities scheduled -- for young and old-- during the summer season. It is also enjoyable in the off-season: private and quiet, great walking and bike-riding, just 1.5 miles from downtown Petoskey; very close to the Bay View Beach.

Wonderful Charm and Location

We spent a week in this wonderful cottage. It has everything needed for a great stay: walk to Bay View events, great hiking trails, close to Petoskey and the rest of Northwest Michigan. It's quiet, clean, a great gas fire place for those cool evenings and the furnishings are just right. The beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend this cottage. We plan on returning. The owners live just a couple of miles away and are easy to communicate and accommodate.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
