If you are looking for a change of pace from the hectic city life you will find a quiet, peaceful and comfortable home away from home. Curl up with a good book. Prepare an old fashioned home cooked meal in our great kitchen or just relax sitting on the front porch taking in the countryside.

If you are looking for an active vacation exploring the beautiful Lehigh Valley, you will find yourself centrally located. North, South, East or West their is lots to do and lots to see all year round and just minutes away.

Spring: Golf, Cycling, Whitewater rafting, Baseball at Coca Cola Park.

Summer: Golf, Cycling, Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom, Musik-fest, Country Fairs, Drive-In Theatres.

Fall: Golf, Cycling, Wine Tours, Jim Thorpe and Fall Foliage all around you.

Winter: Skiing, snowboarding. Visit downtown Bethlehem at Christmas time. Outlet shopping at the Crossings.

Large dressing room can be made into a 3rd bedroom.

Grew up in the area and the stay resurrected fond memories of peace, quiet, and a tranquil rolling countryside. The home was exceptionally clean, well furnished, and inviting which set the stage to appreciate the interior craftsmanship and Queen Ann features. The home is located on Rising Sun Road, aptly named but should also include fantastic setting sunsets. One would be hard pressed to improve the design and furnishings of the home, and the natural setting. The owner, Dennis, is cordial, very helpful, and readily available. Highly Recommended for any reason to have easy access to near-by recreational and historic sites, or simply, just to get away.

Spacious enough for 3 grown adults who want separate rooms, and definitely beats any hotel or lodge by far! Great location, amazing view, and an overall awesome experience for my friends and I.

Highly recommended, we will be returning for another snowboarding trip next year!

The listing was accurate, with the photo's showing exactly what the accommodation is like. The property was spotless, with fresh new white towels, new looking mattresses etc. The owner/person looking after it was really helpful - we arrived about midnight, and he was there waiting to greet us and show us the basics. He came back next morning to make sure we were OK and let us know how to contact him, and then left us to it. The roads were easy to travel on, even straight after heavy snowfall, and the Blue Mountain ski area was fantastic for the teenage children (excellent for other ages too!). We would all recommend the Whitehall Diner for pancakes! Would definately recommend this property.

Cozy, comfy, clean, warm!

We were a group of 4 and stayed 4 nights.

We were personally greeted by Dennis (the owner), who gave us a tour of the house and everything! The house was extremely neat and clean, the rooms were comfy, the bathroom looked brand new and the kitchen was fully equipped!

The house looks even better in person! and we even made smore's in the patio.

Blue Mountain, a ski resort, was about 15 minutes away from the house. The restaurants and fast food places that were suggested to us by Dennis were also a few minutes away!

You will not regret your stay in this house!

My husband and I visited in mid-October and the countryside was gorgeous. The property was very comfortable--nicely heated, comfortable bed, updated kitchen, great laundry facilities--and lovely (beautiful old wood details). The water was the softest I've come across since staying in a luxury resort in Jamaica--excellent for the hair and skin. I shampooed twice and my hair looked better than it had in years. Guess country water doesn't have all that drying chlorine and other chemicals.

It seems rather isolated at first but when you get used to the winding roads you find that it isn't all that far away from shopping and restaurants in Allentown. A GPS helps!
