This house is a lovely classic maltese style terraced house. It has a gorgeous courtyard with citrus trees and plunge pool in back and a charcoal bbq. The kitchen is well equipped with full size fridge, half size freezer, oven and hotplates, a variety of coffee percolaters for the hotplates and a stove top kettle for hot water/tea etc. The house is cared for by the very friendly and helpful Gina who lives next door. The bedroom layout is a bit unusual with the three bedrooms upstairs all adjoining ( all with double beds), the middle bedroom can only be acessed through one of the other bedrooms so is probably more suitable for kids or close family. There is a good sized bathroom upstairs that serves all three bedrooms. The main upstairs bedroom is a lovely big room with comfortable bed. Downstairs there is another double bedroom with ensuite. There is also a seperate shower and toilet room downstairs which does provide a third bathroom. There are lovely dining/sitting areas both inside and out. Ther is not any airconditioning... Just ceiling fans so it does get a bit hot inside. The main bedroom windows upstairs opens onto the street and it is a bit noisy early in the morning, ok if it is cool enough to close the shutters but a bit noisy if they are open. It overlooks the Mosta dome and Mosta itself is a pleasant non touristy town. There are two excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the house, The Lord Nelson and Ta'Marija. Shops are also within easy walking distance. You will need a car to explore the rest of the island easily and there is parking on the street outside the villa. We had a lovely time both staying here and while on Malta as a whole.
