Photos and Description of the West Midlands vacation rental 17th Century Renovated Coach House

Alvechurch is situated 12 miles from Birmingham, 3 mils from Redditch, 20 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, and 30 minutes by car to the NEC. Old house stables was the stables for the neighbouring house, which was a coaching house in the 17th century. Shakespeare is reputed to have written part of the 'The Tempest' whilst staying there. The local vicar was defrocked for doing naughties with the scullery maid in the 19th century. Certainly an historic property. The stables themselves are nicely furnished with sleeping facilities for up to 10 persons. Two bath/showers/toilets, 2 lounges, dining area etc. Nice garden and patio area. Parking for 4 cars. Post office, shops, restaurants, takeaways, pubs & social clubs are short walk away in the village centre. Alvechurch train station is 1/2 mile away, with trains to Birmingham and Redditch. The Worcester canal with canal boating facilities and adjoining pub are nearby. It's a lovely house, great position and value for money.
