Originally built in the early 1900's, this home has been completely renovated . The home includes three bedrooms and three full baths and can accommodate eight very comfortably. The huge master bedroom looks out over the park and Charlotte Harbor as does the enclosed sun room. You can relax in the sun room, take a walk in the park, ride your bike around the City on the 'Ring Around the City' or just sit in the courtyard nestled right outside the back door after you cool off in the pool.
The home is located in the beautiful historic district of Punta Gorda across from the park with breathtaking views of Charlotte Harbor. Just three blocks from downtown, it is within walking or biking distance to Fishermans Village and Laishley Park and numerous parks and amenities and historic downtown Punta Gorda.
There are numerous restaurants, shops and an abundance of entertainment within just a few blocks of the home. And, of course, Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.
Use your boat or rent a boat at either of the Marinas within walking distance and ride out to Boca Grande Pass, Cabbage Key (Cheeseburger in Paradise), Cayo Costa or any of the barrier islands with miles of secluded beaches.
There is off street parking.
Why stay in a hotel room when you can get a whole house for the week or month for less?

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful Punta Gorda home. The location as perfect for teenagers -- basketball courts, walking/jogging trails across the street; restaurants, shops within walking distance as well. The pool was relaxing and we enjoyed sunbathing, swimming, sharing meals and playing cards on the patio.
The upstairs boasts a huge open "loft" type area with a large King bed and full bath and also a large sitting area with a sofa sleeper. Just off of this area is another large bedroom with its own private bath. This was perfect for the teenagers! There was a TV in the loft area and in the bedroom.
Downstairs was another bedroom with twin beds and access to a full bath. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed -- we just purchased food and beverages and some condiments.
There were many beaches within a 20 -30 minute drive and the drive to Siesta Key was only about 45 minutes door to beach. We went on a Monday so there was little traffic en route and at the beach.
We would definitely stay here again. The owners were so kind and accommodating!!
My husband and I discovered a great place to stay! We both took a chance on Punta Gorda. We were looking for a location in Florida with a small town feel. This location is not touristy, but there were many, many day trips just a short distance away. This home is located in the historic section of Punta Gorda and it was perfect. The house was decorated beautifully, very clean and bright with a perfect view of the Port Charlotte Bay and a beautiful park accross the street. So many great restaurants just a short walk or bike ride away. The home has a grill and well stocked kitchen if you prefer to eat in. We were greated the morning we arrived by a friendly lady who gave us her number if any issues came up during our stay. We arrived to fresh flowers on the table and cold bottled water in the refrigerator. Jeff and Janine were perfect homeowners and every part of the experience worked out great. Even though it was just the two of us, the house will accommodate 6-8 people. We drove to the Ringling Museum, Boca Grande beach, the Naples Zoo and Englewood Beach. You will have a great vacation in this home! We can't wait to return.
This was an old home, beautifully updated. The furniture was beautiful and very comfortable. Very nicely decorated. The place was in perfect condition with several welcome bonuses we definitely didn't expect. The owners were very accommodating! The location was perfect. Close to downtown, Fishermens Village and of course a spectacular view of the harbor. You could enjoy the park right across, the street. We enjoyed sitting out in the back yard. It was a great place for our family to stay with plenty of room!
The home is located just three blocks from historic downtown Punta Gorda and twenty minutes from Fort Myers. Orlando is only two hours away and Boca Grande is about 45 minutes by car and thirty by boat. If you are a boater, bring your boat and store it at either Fishermans Village or Laishley Park Marina. Both are within walking distance. If you want to keep your boat on a trailer, we have plenty of room to store it at the house.
Cayo Costa, Pine Island, Boca Grande Pass, Cabbage Key, Useppa Island and more are all just a short Boat Ride. If you don't have boat, there are rentals at both Marinas.
