The Villa description was accurate although the distance from cannes is some what understated it is more like 20mins,It was clean and well maintained although we did suffer a couple of power cuts due to bad wiring one of which caused us the inabilty to open the front Gates for 1/2 hour Broadband was in fact a family service so was unable to retrieve any inportant docs if required.
Do not leave anything behind or it will be diposed of!!!!!!
Certainly GOOD for large families who speak GOOD FRENCH and do not cause ANY MESS even though you do pay for the privilage otherwise forget it!
Owner's Response: This review was written by employees of a company who rented our villa to go to work in the Palais des Festivals of Cannes, and to make party in the evening.
We ask to the tenants to tidy up the villa before their departure of 10 hours(am), to evacuate dustbins during the stay, so that the villa is ready to be cleaned (option cleaning of departure calculated on a base of 6 hours of work), all this is explained well on the Rental Contract, in every rooms of the villa in French and in ENGLISH, and also explained during the entrance. At 10 am, there were 8 dustbins on the ground in the kitchen, 4 on the terrace, 50 empty bottles on the terrace, bottles of alcool almost everywhere, refrigerators full of food, bathroom linens wet on beds, cosmetics and clothes... ALL THAT WE DO NOT WANT.
We gave us the order to throw everything after their departure and then a person demanded its clothes ?
We put 25 hours (with 5 persons) to put back the villa in the initial state, for wellcom the following tenants.
We do not wish to rent this luxury villa in these conditions and shall not rent any more for the members of company who participate in the Festivals of Cannes.
We have no problem with families which to have good holidays, we remain contactable during the stay if the tenant needs our help...All this villa is perfectly maintained.
It's necessary that the respect must be mutual.
