My sister and I are the third generation in our family to own this house on Lake Michigan. It is a very special place to us. I live in Colorado and work in the ski industry, but love to get back to Michigan whenever possible.
Located on a private road with a private beach, this is a spectacularly peaceful setting.
Being adjacent to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore provides not only amazing views, but an unspoiled big lake experience.
Miles of uninterrupted hiking on the beach is a memorable part of any visit. The Point Betsie lighthouse is a good hiking destination.
I particularly enjoy riding my road bike around the northwest corner of the state. It is a first class cycling experience.
