Two self catering properties in a quiet location nestling in the valley below the picturesque hill top village of Montatlo. The Olive Mill has a large living space featuring the old mill stone and the olive press. Outside there is a large garden leading down to the river where you can dip into the mountain water.The Mill House is next door and is a recently restored traditional stone building with a traditional stone roof and local slate on the stairs. This is south facing and has a lovely view from the sitting room and bedroom. Outside there is an enclosed garden and an outside room that is ideal for alfresco meals. Access to the river can be gained through the Olive Mill garden or a short walk up the valley where there is a magical pool for swimming. It is a wonderful area for walking right outside the front door. The Italian Riviera and sandy beaches are only 15 minutes drive away. San Remo 20 minutes drive and Monaco 40 minutes. Local markets everyday of the week along the coast.

The Olive Mill has a large living space featuring the old mill stone and olive press. It is comfortably furnished with arm chairs around the fireplace and a long oak dining table with eight chairs. There is a kitchenette that leads into a lobby and from there to the garden. A double bedroom leads off the lobby and also a shower room with w/c. Upstairs the bedroom suite has its own entrance reached by an outside staircase. This has a hallway that leads to the double bedroom. Off the hallway there is a shower room and a seperate w/c, washbasin and bidet. Outside there is a terraced area and then a large garden that leads down to the river where you can bathe in the cool mountain waters. There is a table, chairs and sunloungers on the terrace. The picturesque mountain village of Montalto is 5 minutes walk away, with its narrow cobbled streets only wide enough for pedestrians and mules. There are wonderful walks up the valley or the mountains from right outside the door.

The famous Hanbury Botanical Gardens near Ventimiglia are 50 minutes away. Markets are found every day of the week along the coastal towns from Imperia to Ventimiglia.
