I've just completed my 2 room apartment in the centre of Hamburg (the actual centre not just the city), it's just under the Michel Church which you can see from the balcony, five minutes walk from the Rathaus, five minutes walk from St. Paulie and the Reeperbahn, and yes five minutes walk from the Harbour. It's in Neustadt, Rodingsmarkt is the closest U-Bahn but there is also the S-Bahn at Stadthaus Brucke which now links directly to the Airport in just a few stops every ten minutes. The majority of Hamburgs tourist sights and shopping is within a short waking distance, however trains, taxi's and buses are all close by. If your interested in renting the apartment for short let, weekend break or longer term let me know.

located in the centre of Hamburg, the actual centre not just the city, it's just under the Michel Church which you can see from the balcony. The majority of Hamburgs tourist and shopping is within a short waking distance, however trains, taxi's and buses are all close by. Location of object Rodingsmarkt is the closest U-Bahn (five minutes) there is also the S-Bahn (two minutes walk at Stadthausbruke which goes directly to the Airport every ten minutes. Town: Germany, Mitte, Neustadt Very Centre of Hamburg. Five minutes walk from the Rathaus, five minutes walk from St. Paulie and the Reeperbahn, and yes five minutes walk from the Harbour. Around ten minutes walk to Hamburg Messe and Hamburg Congress Centrum, ten minutes walk to the Opera, the Lakes etc.

A laundry service can be arranged at an additional cost. There is also a small shower/WC. Great Place-Small Bathroom

We enjoyed the apartment. Wonderful comfortable beds, nice kitchen and fantastic location. Because it is so near St. Micheal's Church it is very easy to find on a lovely street. We walked to the harbor, downtown & to the Portugese section but there was also easy access to public transit. We also found many good restaurants nearby. The only drawback was the tiny bathroom but we would rent again becuase it was well furnished and very clean.

Truly great location

This apartment is a wonderful location in Hamburg, very clean. Arrangements were easy & the hosts very accommodating. The bathroom is tiny, but has an excellent shower, & the kitchen quite generous. We had a great time, & considered our accommodations a good value, well worth being just a short walk from virtually anywhere in the central city.

FANTASTIC! Everything is there

Loved staying here, it's right beside everything and really comfortable. There was even a selection of DVDs to play on the surround sound system.

David also left a bottle of sparkling wine for us!

Wir haben 3 Nächte sehr genossen in diesem Appartement. Es ist sauber, fantastisch gelegen, die Nachbarschaft ist angenehm und es hat uns das Gefühl von "zu Hause" in fremden Wänden gegeben. Etwas mehr Besteck in der Küche wäre nicht schlecht. Das Badezimmer ist ein typisches Altbauwohnung-Bad - winzig, aber alles funktioniert.
