Wine Country Estate: 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Lovely, pastoral get-away on a large, working vineyard in the hills above Glen Ellen / Kenwood, overlooking rolling vineyards and wine country below. Gated property. This is a designated non-smoking, environ-mentally-sensitive, property. Please check our calendar for availability.

Four bedrooms: Two master bedrooms w/ en suite baths on main floor; two queen bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath. Additional full bath off the kitchen. Perfect for several couples or a family.

Relax by the pool, dine al fresco, enjoy local winery tours, hike, bike... An escape that feels like the wine regions of France or Italy. On a clear day, you can see out to the Pacific. Catering available.

Glen Ellen is located in the heart of the “Valley of the Moon,” in Sonoma Valley along the famous Hwy 12 Winery Route. Various top restaurants can be found in Glen Ellen and Kenwood, as well as near the historic Sonoma Square, 25 minutes south.

There's good mountain & road cycling nearby, including single-track mtn. biking in Annadel State Park.

Other local parks: Historic Jack London State Park; Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Both ideal for hiking, picnicking.

Spa facilities are available at the Kenwood Inn or at Sonoma Mission Inn near downtown Sonoma. Massage therapists are available for in-home appointments.

In our home, we use only biodegradable cleaning products. We also compost and recycle as much as possible.

Out of respect for others in the vineyard countryside, please, no amplified exterior music, loud parties or events... Many thanks.

Napa Valley is a 40-minute drive over the hills to the east. Santa Rosa is 25 minutes northwest on Hwy 12.

Perfect for Celebratory Sonoma Weekend!

I rented this house with a group of friends to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday. The house is nicely maintained and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. Its about two miles off of route 12 and requires a rather windy drive but the privacy and views make it well worth the effort.

The owner was extremely responsive to all of our requests and has been a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend this property to friends, family and the VRBO community!
