House, 4 Bedrooms + Den, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

This is a beautiful area of Virginia. The Blue Ridge Mountains can be seen from all areas of the property, even from your private outdoor hot tub!!!

The Virginia Horse Center is just 10 miles away in Lexington. In Historic Lexington, you can see where General Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson lived. It is also the home of Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University. You can watch a cadet parade at 4 PM on Fridays at VMI. In Lexington there are horse drawn carriage rides through town.The famous Natural Bridge is about 20 minutes down the road. You can kayak or tube down the James or Maury Rivers.

The two national forests are nearby. Two major ski resorts, Wintergreen and Massanutten are just an hour away. They have many outdoor activities to tell you about. There is much more to do than I can tell you here.

Keywords: Located halfway between Staunton and Lexington, 10 minutes from the Lexington Horse Center. One hour to major ski resorts.

This property is BETTER than described. Excellent bedding and modern updates. Fully stocked kitchen. This home is very spacious with amazing views. College kids visited in the back-adults in the front. It was perfect! My favorite afternoon was sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch in view of the mountains. Gorgeous!
