Take your luggage right upstairs and pick your room! There is a choice of King, Queen, Double or a set of Twins! All four bedrooms are airy, spacious, with brand new furniture, ample closet space and a view from every window! The sunrise above the river is incredible, yet discreet in both, the King and the Twin bedrooms. The King has an en-suite with a large shower and a beautiful sitting area, perfect for those who like to sleep in, or relax with the good book. In both the Queen and the Double you will want to keep the curtains open, not to miss your very private view over the vineyards in the setting sun! The luxurious beds are made with high quality bed linens and are so comfy-cozy, you’ll be sure to have sweet dreams. The main bathroom has easy access to tub, lots of room and double sinks.
On the main floor you have a private library, with many books and magazines to choose from! You also have an elegant, comfortable living room perfect for great conversations around the wood burning fireplace, and with the view of Niagara Parkway. The dining room, overlooking the gorgeous, professionally maintained natural back garden, and vineyards, has a table big enough to accommodate everyone and can be either formal or casual. Whether you love to cook, want to warm up a pre-prepared meal, or leftovers from one of the great restaurants, the well equipped kitchen is stocked with everything you need! Open and roomy, with the French door from the breakfast nook to the back garden, the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for any cook to get the meals ready, but still feel like a part of everything! Plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery, plus the pots and pans and, of course, wine glasses! If you crave to hear the news, want to see your favourite show on a big screen TV before bedtime, or simply worm up in front of the other wood- burning fireplace on those cool winter or late spring evenings, you can sprawl out on the most comfortable, dawn-filled, extra large, French style sofa and chairs in the family room with garden views through the French door. Either you choose to sit comfortably around the table, gather in the kitchen, recline in the family room, entertain in the living room or hang out on the back patio, you will be making cherished memories with those you cherish most! There is room for everyone to hang out together and do their own thing! The back garden, complete with the patio furniture , starts with a terraced flagstone patio that spans the width of the house! Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the vineyards in this amazing oasis of natural gardens. We do come once a week to tend to the garden, but we won’t interfere with your enjoyment!
This is just not any pool! It was designed for a professional swimmer. Fully enclosed by a decorative and functional wrought iron fence, the gate has a high latch and it is out of reach for children. The water glistens and welcomes you to cool off, or to have a workout and wear off that glass of wine! Please no glass or china in the gated pool area!
The pool didn’t escape the landscaper. As the final touches, the garden and waterfall make it difficult to leave this estate and experience the wineries that are within walking distance. Whether you want to try Inniskillin or Reif, both wineries are practically your neighbors. Close but not too close! From French Affair you would drive for less than 5 minutes to the main shopping, dining and theatre district in Niagara-on-the-Lake and 20 minutes to Niagara Falls. Even better, leave your car and pedal around this picturesque area. Niagara Parkway offers stunning and unforgettable vistas all along the mighty Niagara River. It is a delight in any season. Dotted along the parkway are quaint fruit stands, world renowned wineries as well as fabulous boutique wineries that specialize in local, organic or ice wines!
