Virtual Lakefront - This beautiful, contemporary home is located directly across the street from Trickey Pond with right of way access. Trickey Pond is famous for its incredibly clean water, with great fishing and boating (no jet skis please). Renters have use of our canoe and kayaks.
Sit on the second floor covered porch and enjoy the views and fresh breeze off the pond. At night, get a blaze going in the open fire pit and roast marshmellows.
Lake Sebago is very close with its great boating and resort scene if you like things a little less peaceful. In the winter, skiing is close by at Shawnee Peak (with night skiing), or drive an hour to Sunday River. Trickey Pond is also at the crossroads of some of Maine's best snowmobiling trails.
The house is in pristine condition, and fully equipped for your vacation. The large master bedroom is on the third level, with its own bath. The second level has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bath. The first level has a game room with a poker table and bar on one side, and a TV room with a queen bed on the other side (A great place to let the kids retreat). There is a half bath on this level, as well as a microwave, and second refrigerator.
The newly remodeled kitchen on the main level is fully equipped for cooking real meals, or just heating up take-out from one of the many local restaurants. The home is fully furnished with everything and anything you will need for your trip. It is well stocked with new and high end cutlery, glassware and dishes. We have cloth napkins, great cooking knives, a blender, lobster pot, crock pot, and so on. Each bedroom has ample lighting, an alarm clock, bedding, night stands, and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom as a new flat screen television. Cable is included in the rental. There is also air conditioning on each of the three levels.

We purchased this property after many wonderful visits to Maine, predominantly for winter sports. With three sons - all skiers/boarders/fishing enthusiasts - we chose a home that afforded opportunities for each of these activities. We have not been disappointed!
Andrew and Catherine Berg purchased this house in 2011
This property has a perfect layout/flow. It is bright and welcoming - no dark and spooky Stephen Kingish rooms. It is in great condition, having been recently renovated completely on the entry level, and in the kitchen. We love that we access Trickey Pond directly in front of our home - it is probably no more than fifty yards from the front door. With the town of Naples a quick trip away (including the Umbrella Factory grocery), we loved the access to all the conveniences while maintaining that 'million miles away' feel. Trickey Pond road is a dead end, which also is great for jogging, walking, and minimal traffic.
Seventy Six Trickey Pond is renovated and in wonderful condition. Close to everything you'll need - pharmacy, grocery, dining. You'll love hearing (and seeing) the loons that populate the pond each summer. Our friendly neighbors, Mark and Debbie, are happy to help with virtually any questions or requests.
This house was a great choice for our family vacation. There was so much space in the house with a great view of the lake from both the porch and the downstairs patio. The house was immaculate and all furnishings were lovely - made it feel like a home away from home. Owner was very easy to work with and always very responsive during the booking process. Can't wait to rent again!
Wow, what a great week we had. Visited Naples, Maine with my children and grandchildren to show everyone where I spent my summers as a young boy. This house was perfect for the whole family. It is very comfortable; 3 bedrooms plus the den where the grandkids slept (ages 8 and 10). Everything is top notch and well stocked. The owner's honor system works very well. When we arrived the house had all of the incidental stuff in the kitchen -- no panic shopping required upon arrival. We just replaced stuff we used and never felt stressed.
The location is lovely, the house is large and the air conditioning can be a big plus when it gets hot. We used the supplied kayaks and canoes on Trickey Pond and loved it. This is an incredibly clear lake!
There is a fire pit in the back which we all loved; sat around and watched fireflies.
The location is close to "downtown" Naples. Easy to get to Portland, Bridgeton and the New Hampshire tourist areas for day trips. We even went to Rockland for a day sail.
I spent 12 of my first 19 summers in the Naples, Maine area. Staying at this house really let me give the family a very positive experience in a place I loved so much growing up.
Thank you for renting our your beautiful cottage. Not only was the cottage perfect, we also enjoyed being in the community of Naples Maine. We enjoyed a day at the state park beach, we also rented a boat for a day and spent a wonderful day cruising Sebago Lake. We took advantage of the canoes a few times to explore Trickey Pond as well. We also did day trips to North Conway and Portland. The house was well stocked with plenty of room for everyone. The master bedroom's walk in closet was even the perfect little bedroom for my 2 year old! We would certainly rent here again.
We had the great pleasure of staying at this wonderful house for a month and never tired of it. The amenities of the home are never ending with high quality being exhibited at each turn. We were so relaxed just sitting on the balcony looking at the pond and winding down. The landlords were the greatest from the original showing to the final quick return of the security deposit. The kayaks and canoe were great to spend leisurely hours on the pristine pond. We have no hesitation in recommending this unit to anyone.
Our family had a fantastic two weeks at this house, which truly lived up to the owner's description and photographs. We have all ready booked up for next year as we have family the other side of Trickey Pond. The house is really welcoming and the living area is a great space to relax in. We enjoyed using the kayaks and really appreciated being able to use the life jackets/beach towels/noodles. It makes the whole vacation experience much more enjoyable when your every need is thought of, especially travelling with children. Trickey Pond is a hidden gem and this house is extremely good value. We saw a family of wild turkeys in the front yard one afternoon and a beaver another morning on the grass. We have stayed in two other rental properties in the area and this is hands down the best with regards to furnishings/ equipment and location. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us. we look forward to next summer!
A fabulous property in a great location with all the expected amenities and more. Our two week stay at 76 Trickey Pond was enjoyed by all, the AC was a real treat with high temps and and unusually high dew point tempratures over the 4th of July weekend. We could not fit the canoe or kayaks into our tight full family schedule but was ince to know they were available.
As owners with a VRBO listing as well we recognize and appreciate the extra effort you have made your home the best it can be. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy it as well.
Our home is located just four miles from the center of Naples, a very quaint and active little town. There are plenty of dining and shopping options there, as well as within a short drive. There is an adventure park with zip lines and many other activities just twenty minutes away. Trickey Pond is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the Sebago Lakes region. It is so clear it's wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. Our home is fully equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We have a canoe and two kayaks for your use, water toys, beach towels and chairs. We are right around the corner from Sebago State park and many other wonderful hiking, picnicking, and fishing areas. Portland is a 45 minute drive, and Kennebunk is just an hour away. Old Orchard beach is about an hour as well. The outlets shops of North Conway are 45 minutes away, and those of Freeport (including the LL Bean flagship store) are one hour's drive.
