Photos and Description of the Arta vacation rental A private house in large grounds with country views and near superb beaches.

Immaculate country house for a maximum of 10 people 1km from Arta in NE Mallorca. Fully equipped with every facility and superbly decorated and furnished. Five double bedrooms and four bathrooms, excellent kitchen and laundry. Log fire in the drawing room and central heating throughout the house for winter, cool interiors and extra large effective ceiling fans in each bedroom for summer. The dining room accommodates 10. The house is in 2 acres of private grounds with an electric gate at the top of the drive. The lovely landscaping is all around the property and at the centre of the wonderful terraces is the very large, superbly kept swimming pool. The dining terrace overlooks the pool and can seat 16 or more and is fully lit for spectacular night time eating. There is a large BBQ which can cook a meal for 10 in one go. There is plenty of garden furniture with lovely Morroccan umbrellas providing shade as well as the covered pergola overlooking the swimming pool.

Arta is a beautiful old town with a monastery and church dominating the landscape. It has superb restaurants, markets and many local areas of interest including extraordinary underground caves, unspoilt coastal areas which are paradise for walkers, 4 excellent golf courses, tennis and riding clubs, scuba diving and many wonderful beaches all within short, easy drives. The nearby coastal towns of Cala Rajada and Porto Cristo offer exciting night life and Palma is an easy 1 hour's drive where you can find sophisticated shopping, more restaurants and places of historical interest. Arta has something for everyone, young and old and is an area which thrives all year round. The golf in the Spring and Autumn is especially attractive and the golf clubs always friendly and helpful. Shopping is easy with many up-to-the-minute supermarkets and individual specialist shops in the town and sports equipment for the local sporting facilities for sale in excellent outlets. Its an all-round town.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking and the balance 2 months prior to departure.
    A security deposit of £250is also required with the final payment and this is returned - due to the normal checks - after the holiday.
    We can offer 3 or 4 night breaks in Winter and Early Spring and the price is pro rata.
  • One weekly clean and a change of linen is included in the weekly price. Any further cleaning requirements can be negotiated with the housekeeper.
  • We have an excellent meeter and greeter who is on hand for enquiries and help throughout your stay.

Notes: Fully equipped house with an excellent kitchen with every modern convenience. The cooker is a large 5 ring gas cooker with a very efficient oven. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer and a second large fridge freezer. The kitchen has an abundant supply of plates, glasses, cutlery , cooking utensil, pots, pans and everything for the enthusiastic cook. Washing line outside. The ground floor has no steps which makes it very amenable for any disabled guests and wheelchair users. There is a large, shaded car port for 2 cars, many sunbeds and umbrellas and hammocks on the terrace. The swimming pool is kept under scrupulous supervision and the gardens tended on a weekly basis. All the linen is provided (except swimming pool towels) and changed once a week. Maid service once a week is included in the price. It is a safe house for children and they can be supervised easily from the terraces. A large electric gate provides total security

Further house details.: This is a very beautiful house and we have had very many extremely satisfied guests over the past years. Guests are met by our very personable greeter and she is available to answer any questions and queries you may have and she is also a mine of useful information about the area. She speaks perfect English, German and Spanish and can be contacted any time during your stay. The house is ready to rent all year round. It is fully heated in winter and cool and airy in the summer. A welcome pack is included in the holiday price. If you require any further items or have any specific requests for your arrival, please advise on booking.

Flexible changeover days.: Booking days are flexible. We are not tied to one particular changeover day and we will try to accommodate your flights as much as we can. We do take great pride in having the house superbly clean for or guests and so do require a day in-between lets to allow the housekeeper to arrange all the beds and do the cleaning. The swimming pool is checked a few times a week and completely cleaned after each let. Entry to the house therefore is by arrangement with us. Departure is usually around 11.00am.

Facilities nearby: Arta and the locations nearby have excellent facilities for shopping and eating. There are many wonderful restaurants and the lady who looks after our guests is a mine of information about where to eat. We also have first rate Doctors and Dentists on hand and in Arta there is a small hospital. Manacor has a much larger hospital which offers first class treatment. We have car hire details and can email these should you require them. The car hire can be picked up from Palma Airport or we have local companies which offer very good deals. We also have private car hire details - airport runs, nights out, day trips etc.
