Photos and Description of the Gallipoli vacation apartment rental A nice and new holiday apartment in the Gallipoli's area (Salento)

It is located in Mancaversa (south of Gallipoli's bay) about 100 meters away from the beach. This new and nice holiday house is made up of two bedrooms for 4-5 people, one bath, kitchen, living room, an outside space with garden furniture and swing sofa to chill out and relax. The outside small garden is often used for 'al fresco' dining and the enclosure means it's children safe as well. The house has been newly refurbished with care to details. TV and washing machine are provided as well. The beach straight to the house is stony with low level of water and sand inside the water, but just shifting 200m on the side there is a small natural and peaceful sandy beach.

Mancaversa is a quiet village situated just a short drive away from Gallipoli's bay. The surrounding area of the house is very quiet, still being close to all the commercial services you may need (bars, ice cream shop, restaurants, pubs, supermarket, fish shop, etc). Above all in summer there are lots of events such as food festivals and musical gigs. Yet, in summer there is a bus line very useful that connects it with all the touristic Salento area.

About the beach and the coast: Not to far from the house there are some free short natural sandy beaches (towards north). About 2-3 miles north there is the natural reserve of 'Punta Pizzo', where the Caribbean style bay of Gallipoli starts. Here, peace and nature reign and a trekking session in the park is recommended (1 hour walking to get to Pizzo Tower). Recommended sandy beaches to see in the Gallipoli's bay are: 'Lido Pizzo' (considered the 7th most beautiful beach of Italy), 'Punta della suina' (nice and relaxing scenario), From Punta della Suina up to 'Sirenuse hotel' is a very peaceful area (small free beaches past the pinewood) and the Gallipoli both south and north commercial beaches (in the peak season are rich of services like bars, sport assets, music, etc) On the other side (south), at about 5-6 miles from the house is T.S. Giovanni with its 8 miles of white sandy beach and pinewoods. Other sandy beaches I suggest to see are Alimini lake's beach, Torre dell'Orso bay and Baia dei turchi beach.

Directions: Lecce - Gallipoli - Mancaversa just following the coast road from Gallipoli to SM Leuca.
