Photos and Description of the Mid Wales vacation rental Self-catering rental, a fabulous venue for a holiday, short break or celebration

No. 10 offers comfort, elegance and plenty of space for friends and families wanting to holiday together in the charming town of Brecon. With seven bedrooms, 5 of them en-suite, a stunning dining room and wonderful first floor drawing room opening onto a lovely private garden. The house is a fabulous location for every type of occasion. The house sleeps 14 adults very comfortably with the possibility of up to 4 more with children sharing parent's bedrooms. The kitchen has been equipped to cater for large groups and opens onto a sheltered courtyard, which has table and chairs for al freasco dining. This also area hides a historic ice house and has a gas BBQ. The cellar is a subterranean den with digital TV and table tennis table. This area, accessed off the street also provides safe storage for bicycles. The house has WiFi throughout. We have the flexibility to accommodate mid week bookings and long weekends. Although we are a self-catering property caterers can be booked in advance

No 10 is situated in the charming market town of Brecon in the heart of The Brecon Beacons National Park. Brecon has a cathedral just 100 yards from the house and there is immediate access to riverside walks and the canal towpath. Known for it's wealth of art galleries and historic Georgian buildings Brecon is a wonderful location for your stay. Brecon town also boasts two museums, a theatre, cinema and large leisure centre. The Brecon Beacons National Park offers wonderful walking and mountain biking as well as horse riding and trekking. Canoes can be hired on local rivers or activity providers can be booked for the more adventurous wanting to try gorge walking, climbing and caving. Close by is the world renowned town of books - Hay on Wye as well as the historic town of Llandeilo to the west. Local castles include Carreg Cennan and Tretower Court. The area is just north of the industrial south Wales valleys so visitors can also explore BIg Pit and the Blaenavon World Heritage site.

A brilliant house - the kids loved it

A few words to express how well we enjoyed the stay at No 10.

It was a big enough venue with lots of character and in a location where we had access to all the things we wanted to do. All of us including kids really had a wonderful weekend without stepping on each others toes.

Facilities provided in the property have also been great. A big thank you to enable us to have such a great time.
