Apartment, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

A customized lower level apartment in the quiet woodland settings of Fairview NC. Just a fifteen minute drive to downtown Asheville and a similar distance to the historic Biltmore House/Village and Grove Park Inn. Equally close is spectacular Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park. The Asheville airport is about a 20 minute drive.

The apartment has an open plan design with plenty of natural light in the sitting room, dining area and kitchen which hosts granite countertops and bar. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and enclosed toilet. There is a queen sized bed in the separate bedroom along with a generous closet and dressers. (please view the walk through video to understand the space perspectives.

Complementary garage and shared 'game room' with pingpong table complete a warm family location.

Keywords: Sunny apartment in a woodland setting. Hiking,boating,fishing & white water rafting available nearby.

The location is ideal because it is in an extremely quiet and private neighborhood with 1.25 acres, yet only 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, 20 minutes to the airport, and 15 miles to beautiful Lake Lure.

What makes this apartment unique

We are set in woodland but still close to local amenities. It is a wonderful place to live and all our renters have commented on the beauty, tranquility but also its proximity to major highways and the nearby city of Asheville.

This apartment was just what we needed! We are moving to Asheville so we stayed for two months as part of our transition. Marsha was absolutely wonderful and the apartment was very affordable and had everything we needed. We wanted to stay longer!

The Best of All Worlds

We stayed a month at Blackberry Lane and it immediately became synonymous with home. It is a private oasis with spectacular views of the woods from the wonderful deck and from every window of the apartment. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed, including a one car garage and a washer & dryer. It was also just a 20 minute easy drive to downtown. The owner was very hospitable, gracious and generous. Having our two senior cats with us, made us not miss a thing about home. It was very hard to leave, we could have comfortably stayed several more months. Thanks for the wonderful time we spent in Asheville.

Home sweet home

I really liked the apartment from the ad and pictures online, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It was even nicer than I had imagined! The apartment is equipped with everything you might need, and the deck is a perfect bonus: have your morning coffee and/or breakfast with a backdrop of the forest. I lucked out, being there to see the leaves change. Quite a treat! Marsha was helpful and nice, but gave me my privacy. If I hadn't decided to do some more traveling I would have liked to stay there again! Perfect for 1 or 2 people. It's about a 15-min drive to downtown, but for me the peace and quiet was well worth it. It's also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway--great for cyclists.

This apartment is exquisitely appointed, and it's on a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful wooded views from the deck and every window. The owner is absolutely wonderful and accommodating; every need was anticipated. I wish I could have stayed forever.

Blue Ridge / at its best

We found our stay in Fairview NC Excellent, No surprises, Just the way it was described, Land Lady is an excellent Host, The Rental is beautifully located in the Blue Ridge Mts, in a wooded area, with all kinds of wild life, But close to Asheville and Hendersonville, We found Hendersonville our place to shop over Asheville, and just as close. The House is very comfortable, just the right size, and handy as a button on a shirt. We have rented places for the summer for the past 5 years, and found this one just as nice as any we rented.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
