Lovely apartment close to excellent restaurants or bars and less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. You can also walk to the Benalmadena Puerto Marina in about 10 minutes.

The apartment is south facing so it enjoys the sun from early morning with its balcony overlooking the complex pool and is on the border between Torremolinos and Benalmadena so guests can enjoy the extensive beaches and the beautiful promenade stretching for miles.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the second bedroom. A fold up guest mattress and cot are also available.There is also a well equipped kitchen and a tastefully decorated lounge furnished with a comfortable 3 seater and 2 seater couch,DVD and TV.

The complex is ideal for a family holiday or a romantic break as guests can relax in the complex beside the pool or soak up the sun on the local beaches.

THINGS TO DO IN BENALMADENA: Renting an apartment near Benalmadena gives you access to over 8km of fabulous blue flag beaches. There are not only the wide, sweeping, fine sandy beaches synonymous with the Costa del Sol, but small cove beaches where the atmosphere is serene.

The Puerto Marina in Benalmadena is the focus for not only luxury yachts and larger boats offering expeditions to Gibraltar, Morocco and the Caves of Nerja, but also the focus of Benalmadena’s nightlife.

To entertain the children Tivoli World Amusement Park is not far away in Arroyo, and the Selwo Marina Dolphinarium and Sealife Centre has the largest shark collection in Europe.

There are also plenty of activities to entertain adults with numerous golf courses and even a casino for evening entertainment as well as numerous bars and clubs.

THINGS TO DO IN TORREMOLINOS: The main street in Torremolinos, Calle San Miguel, is a smart pedestrianised street filled with charming little shops and plenty of people. At the end of the street you can find numerous restaurants, some of which are simply superb.

Those renting an apartment in Torremolinos will certainly not be disappointed by the local beaches, and there are also some quieter beaches around the coast if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. Windsurfing, paragliding and water skiing can be arranged along the beach.

The countryside behind Torremolinos is a great location for walkers and mountain bikers who wish to explore the landscape.There are a great number of golf courses to choose from so golfing holidays in Torremolinos are a great option at any time of the year.

Family holidays are well catered for with the famous Torremolinos aquapark provides a great fun day out, with water slides, artificial wave machines and a Sea Life Aquapark next door.

THINGS TO DO IN MALAGA CITY.: The birthplace of Picasso,so anyone with even a passing interest in the artist must visit the Picasso museum. The ancient Moorish Castle, now a hotel, and the vast Baroque Cathedral are well worth visiting.The official Malaga Tour Bus offers wonderful sightseeing tours of the city,which is an ideal way to get your bearings when you first visit the city centre.

The restaurants and cafes in the city centre are a real treat.The café culture is delightful, with many lazy hours being spent sipping coffee watching the world drifting by.There is plenty of shopping with chic boutiques lining the pedestrianised streets in the centre of town.

The nightlife in Malaga various from the traditional bodegas serving old fashioned local wines to the contemporary bars so there is no shortage of places to discover and enjoy.

Spring break

When we arrived Loraine and Colin were waiting for us, a very helpful couple who were looking after the apt nothing was too much trouble for them.

Our first impression was how spotlessly clean the apt was, and the high quality of the furnishings. With the apt being on the first floor we could use the stairs no problem instead of waiting for the lift. The view from the balcony, which had sun for most of the day was of the large well kept gardens and pool, with part sea view.

We were only there for 5 days but we had a great time, we never saw a cloud and the temperatures were in the high twenties every day.

There are some lovely restaurants local, one being El Trillo. Three courses for 15 euros, the quality of the food and service was excellent.

A great time was had by us, and I would not hesitate to return in the future to these lovely apts

One more comment I would like to add and that is the professional service from the owners throughout the entire booking process.

Lovely Apartment.

I stayed here with my dad and my 3yr old daughter for a week in may. It was lovely, Colin and Lorraine were already at the apartment when we arrived to settle us in. Very clean, comfy and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The grounds are well kept and is close enough to the beach without being too noisy at night. Thanks for having us.

Does what it says on the tin

As the title says, this holiday apartment is exactly as it is described and more. We stayed at Gerry's apartment for just over 3 weeks at Christmas time and in all in honesty i cannot fault it. From the time of my initial enquiry, during my stay and after the holiday, Gerry kept in touch guiding me through the booking process and keeping me informed throughout, it was a breeze thanks to his professionalism.
Right, now the apartment review : We were met by Colin & Linda through prior arrangement and they were there to meet us when they said they would, they were extremely helpful and chatty and even stayed for about 20 minutes chatting and guiding us through the apartment,showing us how everything worked and assured us they were only a phone call away if we needed them. The apartment was spotless and is equipped with everything you could possibly need, a mountain of fresh towels and linens, bathroom & kitchen basics,umbrellas,books, a few dvds, a shopping trolley which is very handy for a longer stay especially as we did a lot of self catering, there is a Lidl close by as others have said but if you walk another 10 minutes toward Torremolinos there is a large Mercadona that is very well stocked, they do a great pre packed chicken that you bung in the microwave for 12 mins. I even managed to do a steak pie, tatties and veg for our New Years dinner, yes you may laugh but isn't it funny, the things you really miss on holiday, well i do. Anyway my point is the oven works well, lots of pots and pans, potato peeler, rolling pin, in fact it had everything so thanks for thinking of all these things, no one wants to have to go out and buy utensils to use for during their stay. The main bedroom is quite roomy and the bed was really comfy and most importantly clean, 2nd bedroom is quite small, ideally suited to kids i would imagine, however there were only 2 of us so not a problem for us, kitchen is small too but has everything you need. The shower was excellent, very powerful but may i suggest a non slip mat for us who are not so good on our feet.
The surrounding area has a vast array of restaurants/bars catering for everyones taste but we did notice that a lot were closed this year during the winter. A walk to the marina for a meal is well worth it as is The Carihuela. I could say more but half my review has been deleted as i have ran out of space, lol. October School Holiday Break

My husband, two daughters (15yrs and 12yrs) and I stayed in this appartment for 1 week and I cannot fault it. We had never rented privately before and following this experience I dont think I would book a holiday any other way. Communication with Gerry (owner) before and after our break was excellent and Lorraine (agent) was there waiting on us when we arrived. The appartment was immaculate and very well equipped. The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained and the pool was immaculate. The appartment block is close to the beach, resturants and bars and the there is a big Lidl Supermarket just round the corner. I would return to this appartment tomorrow and highly recommend to family and friends - just wish I was back there in the sunshine

Fantastic apartment - perfect location!!

Stayed here for a fantastic 9 nights in July. Mary & Gerry (owners) - were fantastic in email contact before and after - with plenty of useful information sent a few weeks before our hols.
Met by Colin & Lorraine who showed us around the apartment (thank you again). All very well equipped - couldn't have asked for more and spotlessly clean! The apartment is situated 5 minutes walk down to the promenade where you could stroll either direction for miles (which we did most evenings). At the top of the hill there is a Lidl which was fantastic for filling the freezer with icecreams and fab sparkling wine for 1 euro (another story!).
Another 5 minutes walk from this was the train station which ran all the way to Fuengirola in one direction and Malaga the other. Plaza Mayor was two stops away and not to be missed for fantastic shopping and restaurants.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment you will not be disappointed.
Hope to return next year and will be booking as soon as summer 2012 easyjet flights are released.

The Imperial Puerto is a gated complex close to the Timor Sol or Aloha Puerto hotels and a short taxi journey from Malaga airport.There are plenty of local restaurants including Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Dutch, English,Irish and a good mix of pubs within easy reach of the apartment and the nearest supermarket is only 100 metres away.The beach with its attractive promenade running from Torremolinos to Benalmadena Puerto Marina is only 350 metres away.A car is not required as there is a regular bus service and a taxi rank within a 100 metres of the apartment or a 15 minute walk brings you to the El Pinillo train station on the Fuengirola to Malaga line.

Family attractions, including Aqualand water park,Tivoli world amusement park, Selwo marina with its sea lions, dolphins etc are all a short taxi journey and the Sea Life aquarium is an easy walk from the apartment.

There are taxi ranks at the Timor Sol and Aloha Puerto hotels for guests going to Malaga airport on their way home.
