Luxury 2 bedroom private holiday apartment in Madeira, for vacations. The apartment is situated in the coastal village of Calheta. This self catering accommodation boasts excellent facilities including a fully equipped kitchen. The views from the balconies are spectacular. The local beach, Praia Calheta is a short distance from the apartment. There are two sandy beaches with restaurants and bars. Calheta is the ideal location for families or couples wanting a relaxing holiday. Local activities include:- Levada Walking excursions, Whale and Dolphin Watching, Big Game Fishing, Swimming, Garden visits, and Golf. The self catering apartment is situated in the village of Estrela da Calheta close to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Levada Nova is the closest Levada and is accessible by both bus and car. This Levada offers excellent walking excursions. The popular walking area of Rabacal is also within easy reach. The levada walking trails are very memorable.

Nearest Airport: Funchal at 45 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Funchal at 25 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1.5 Kilometres

Calheta is a coastal town with 2 golden sandy beaches. The apartment is approximately 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Funchal. There is a bus service from Calheta to Funchal and Ponto do Pargo in the west of the island. The self catering apartment in Madeira is in within easy reach of many of the islands attractions. Collection and drop off at the airport is available if required. Car hire can also be arranged. Please let us know at the time of booking The area is an excellent place to experience Levada walks. These can either be self guided or arranged as part of a group excursion. Rabacal is an area which is popular with walkers but rarely crowded. To get to Rabacal guests need to drive about 10 minutes to the top of Paul du Serra. For those who would like to visit the regions capital, Funchal, this is within easy reach.

Notes: The Kitchen has been carefully equiped to ensure that all the equipment and utensils you require are provided. A child's high chair is available on request. Please request this at the time of booking. There is a small children's play area with slide and swings to the rear of the apartment. The apartment is situated in a private gated residential condo. The pool area is very quite and guests often have this facility to themselves. Air conditioning is available in both bedrooms and the living area. Free wireless broadband is available from Calheta Marina (computer not supplied). There is a washing machine and drying frame available along with an iron and ironing board. Linen is changed weekly. The apartment has easy access for those with special requirements. Please inform us of your needs so that we can make sure that we can meet them. There are two car parking spaces in a covered car park. The entrance to the apartments is through an automated gated entrance.

A very belated thank you for the use of your wonderful apartment in Madeira . Having stayed in a number of holiday aprtments , particularly I can honestly say we have never stayed in one so beautifully appointed . Everything was thought of and since my husband loves to cook he was in his element! The weather was great and we had the pool to ourselves which was lovely , in fact the whole islalnd seeemed very quiet . Thank you once again for all the trouble you and the team took to make it a very special trip for us .
