This is a newly built one bedroomed apartment in a 4* complex. It is in the charming french village of Font Romeu in the Pyranees. The village has excellent skiing facilities but as yet is not a package tour destination so it retains appeal for the independent traveller. The skiing is particularly good for those travelling with children. The ski lift and ski pass office are 2 mins away from the apartment. The area also has a large number of activities during the summer and is 90 mins away from the beach. The apartment has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed in the lounge. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a tv, dvd player and ipod docking station. There is private underground parking within the complex. There is also a pool, sauna, jaccuzi and steam room. The apartment is self catering but the village has lots of restaurants and take away facilities. There is a supermarket and bakery to buy whatever you need.

Situated in the traditional french mountain resort of font romeu. The town has several restaurants and bars. There is a cinema and casino. The ski slopes are suitable for all skiing abilities and there is access within the area to several other ski areas including andorra which is less than an hour away. There is a high altitude training centre, full size pool, iceskating rink and bowling. In the summer there are several outdoor activities including white water rafting, horse riding, mountain biking and climbing. There is an animal park nearby at Les Angles and local natural hot spring baths. The area is a national park with stunning scenery. It is also possible to drive to the beach within about 90 mins if you wish to spend the day there.

Ski: Font Romeu is a renowned resort in the Pyranees with excellent ski facilities. It is famously sunny and has 40 runs with a good mix suitable for all abilities. There is a high number of snow cannons guaranteeing snow cover. There are a number of other ski resorts locally and Andorra is approximately 1 hour away.
