Excellent self-catering accommodation with a wide range of facilities, ideally situated for exploring the delights of the Loire Valley. Once the home of a wine-maker, it is set in mature and extensive grounds with secure walled courtyards. 13 bedrooms in total, split between the chateau, coach house and cottage. These can be rented in various combinations. Vignerons is situated on the edge of the small wine producing village of Concourson-sur-Layon, known for its “Anjou” and “Coteaux de Layon” wines, some 15 miles from the enchanting town of Saumur and 3 miles from the market town of Doué la Fontaine. Concourson has a reasonably priced restaurant/bar, a boulangerie within walking distance, and many wine producers “Vigerons”, offering free visits and tastings.

    - Security deposit: €1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.

    - Additional requirements: Cots/high chairs, washing facilities, extra mattresses are all available free of charge. Please ensure that your requirements are noted at time of booking.

    -Bed Linen is included free of charge in your booking rates. Should you require towels, these are available at a cost of £5 per set in advance or €7.50 on arrival. Each set consists of 1 large bath sheet, 1 hand towel and 1 large pool towel. Please ensure that your requirements are noted at time of booking in order that these are available upon arrival.

    - Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
    - End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
  • The owner is happy to help in any way that she can. Please give prior notice. She has friendly links to a few local vineyards so if you do wish to go wine tasting locally please ask.
