Peaceful, secluded self-contained family retreat with kitchen, wet room, living room with mezzanine (2 beds) and double bedroom. BBQ with seating area. Delightful villages in charming countryside with excellent open and woodland walking. Horses and ponies available for riding and lessons given if necessary. 6 miles to pretty historical lakeside village with beach and leisure activities. 5 miles to each of 3 small traditional old towns with supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, bars & restaurants, also weekly markets. Similar larger towns within 16 miles. One hours easy drive to large white sandy beaches with safe swimming and towns reminiscent of the French 'Belle Epoch'. The accommodation sits in the heart of the World War II battlefields and is surrounded by wartime memorabilia and the Normandy Landings are within an easy drive. Paris two hours on motorway.
