A family friendly ground floor contemporary front facing apartment situated in a quiet residential road 100 metres from the seafront promenade and Benllech's child friendly sandy beach. There is no need to take your car out of our private car park to go to the beach.

Benllech is a family friendly seaside resort on the island of Anglesey. A 100 metres from the apartment is Benllech's blue flag beach with promenade and beachfront shop. The town of Benllech is close to the apartment where local shops, banks, launderette, GP practice and restaurants are situated.

This apartment is part of a newly built development of 6 apartments. Our apartment has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with a flat screen TV. The living area has partial sea views from floor to ceiling windows, a door opens out onto the balcony. The apartment has 2 bedrooms; a kingsize double bedroom.and bedroom two has a single bed and a set of bunk beds, this room sleeps 3 children or one adult and 2 children comfortably. An ultra modern bathroom with power shower and bath.. The dining area has a table and four chairs together with 2 bar stools. The kitchen area has light oak units and black granite work top surfaces and contains a fridge and,dishwasher and an automatic washing machine.

We liked the modern clean lines of the apartment building and it's proximity to the seafront which avoids having to take your car out of our private car park and find a parking place at the seafront car park. The apartment offers a very family friendly base.

A modern contemporary ground floor apartment situated near the sea front and the village of Benllech which has good local services. Benllech is a good base for seeing the island and all it has to offer.

We handle all the bookings ourselves through this site, we do not employ cleaners, we do all the changeovers ourselves including the laundering of the bed linen and towels. We take a pride in the presentation of the apartment for each guest's arrival. Please refer to our list of reviews on this site.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC HOLIDAY

This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment. We loved it last year and it did not disappoint this year. Flat is perfect and was clean and well maintained.
Beach is great and not as busy as I was expecting in the school holidays. Lots of attractions and good restaurants within short drive.
We love this part of the world and can't imagine better accommodation from which to explore it. We'll be back!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

There are few places we have loved as much as this apartment. We first visited in 2009, have returned every year since and are looking forward to our fifth visit later this year. The apartment is easy to find, has guaranteed parking and looks down to the sea. It’s just five minutes' walk from the sea front and for this reason alone the flat has been wonderful for us particularly as we have young children. It has been the perfect base for days on the beach, which is extremely safe (no dogs allowed). Often there are organised beach activities throughout the summer, sandcastle competitions and even an enormous tug of war, plus an award winning beach cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And because it only takes you five minutes to get there, it is easy to come home for anything you may have forgotten.
The flat is also the perfect base for trips around the island and you’ll find lots of information in the flat about where to go. Aside from the many lovely beaches and seaside pubs there are lots of attractions within easy distance for adults and children including National Trust properties, historic castles, as well as steam railways, Pili Palas and the famously charming town of Beaumaris.
There’s a very calm atmosphere in the flat. It’s stylish and modern in style, with plenty of light throughout, secure and very well equipped. We love the outdoor furniture on the balcony; many times we have sat in the sun and had lunch there. We especially value the fact that the standards of cleanliness at the flat are always to be relied upon. We are always impressed by the sparkling surfaces, white linen and towels. Not only is the flat spotless when we arrive, we find it very easy to keep clean during our stay. We have never had any unpleasant surprises, and even the cleaning cupboard was well organised!
We have always found the owners to be very helpful and friendly, and our years of experience have brought us confidence that the surrounding flats are similarly well managed with unobstrusive neighbours. Chat to few people and you’ll find they have taken Benllech to their hearts as we have. Our children have always made friends on the beach, when they aren’t attempting to damn the freshwater stream that spills out from the rocks, or looking out for Prince William in his yellow search and rescue helicopter.Days on the beach seem to fly by, children are exhausted and sleep well at night. So will you!

NOT ALL THAT IT SHOULD BE!

The apartment is well appointed and in an ideal location, being in close proximity to a sandy tidal beach.
Previous reviews commented upon the cleanliness of the accommodation, we however, cannot say the same. The apartment was found to be 'grubby' and looked as though it had not been cleaned for some time. We left messages in the dust and were appalled at the crumbs and dirt under the coffee table. The blinds were dusty, the kitchen floor dirty, the bin a disgrace and the bathroom towel rail unkempt.
On contacting the owners, minutes after our arrival, our problems were not acknowledged and no attempt made to rectify them during our stay. The whole tone from the owners was condescending.
The whole experience detracted from the enjoyment of our stay and we would not recommend this apartment to friends, relatives or people we are yet to meet.
Following many successful rentals through Holiday-Rentals, this is the first time we have felt the need to write such a negative review. This whole situation was avoidable!

Owner's Response: I spoke to the guests on the day of their arrival and apologised for any shortcomings. However, we have never had any complaints from any previous guests and were very surprised at the comments put forward by these guests. Previous reviews of our property have always praised our high standard of cleanliness and we have always taken great care with the presentation of the property.

SUPERB FOR FAMILY HOLIDAY

The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival with a full range of facilites. I found the apartment bright and well presented with ample room. The bedrooms were well furnished with large comfortable beds and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. The balcony is a real bonus for eating meals and we particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony enjoying the morning sun which streams into the apartment.
The location is superb being 2 minutes from the beach and we found it ideal to be able to walk back and forth from the beach, partilculary having 3 chrildren.
Benllech has all the facilities you need within walking distance from the apartment i.e. banks, shops and good food options.

FANTASTIC APARTMENT & GREAT LOCATION

We cannot fault this holiday apartment. Very spacious, the photos don't do it justice. Everything you need is provided & the kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful bathroom and large bedrooms. Very clean and well maintained. I often don't feel comfortable in holiday lets but I immediately felt at home here.

The location is superb as it is only 2 mins walk from the beach. Great that we could pop back if necessary and there was no putting wet, tired children in the car to come home. Beach is beautiful. Quite a few attractions for children nearby, but they are all quite small scale, so didn't always take up as much time as we'd thought. Not a problem as long as you know that!

Some nice cafes next to the beach. Food at the Bay Cafe was extremely good.

We will definitely be booking to stay here again, it was probably our best family holiday to date!

Benllech is situated on the beautiful holiday island of Anglesey, North Wales and has it's own Blue Flag beach. Anglesey has over 20 sandy beaches, and the coastal path which runs around the entire island. It is a popular holiday destination for families and walkers. Anglesey is close to Caernarfon, Bangor and the Snowdonia National Park. The area is ideal for beach holidays. Walkers not only have access to the coastal path which passes within 100 metres of the property but are also close to the Snowdonia National Park with it's many beautiful walks and climbs. The castles of North Wales are situated close at hand including, Conwy Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Harlech Castle and Criccieth Castle. Sailing, horse riding, cycling and swimming pools are easily accessible from the property.
