We visit Montreal at least once or twice a year and this time we opted to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel suite. We are fans of Vieux Montreal and this apartment was situated perfectly in the center of town above the art galleries, making it easy to walk to all sights whether they be in Vieux Montreal or downtown. My husband and I traveled with two of our children, both teenage boys, and the apartment offered something for each of us. The grown ups loved the charm of the exposed brick and stone walls, wood beams, well-equipped kitchen, convenient parking and jacuzzi tub. The teenage boys loved the cable tv and sofas and quick access to snacks. In all it was a perfect home away from home. We hope to stay here again - in fact we are all in agreement about that! Spacious and charming condo in the heart of Old Montreal. The original stone walls are preserved and the decor is superb with the different art pieces,the high ceilings , a modern and well equipped kitchen. We invited some of our family members over for some meals and had a wonderful time since this is a quiet and safe place. Also, the reserved parking is a big advantage even though so many attractions are at walking distance and the metro is just a few blocks away.
This condo is gorgeous! Our stay exceeded all expectations! The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was beautiful. We did not want for anything--kitchen amenities, hot tub spa (with lights!), phenomenal shower, inside heated parking--all top notch and included. One actually would not need a car in this area since everything is within walking distance and the metro is very close. In addition to the perfect condo, with it's beautiful exposed ancient walls, handsome décor, and relaxing living areas, we were located ideally near restaurants, art galleries, patisseries and historic sites! The people of Montreal were delightful and welcoming. The owner, Elaine, always responded promptly to our communications, making our stay truly enjoyable.
Pablo was a gem, first guiding us to the condo, and then spending extra time with us explaining each aspect of the condo. When we return to Vieux Montreal we will certainly choose to stay here again!
My husband and I decided to head north for a winter vacation. This apartment had everything we needed for our romantic winter get away. Beautifully decorated with amazing art, wood beams and stone walls. Wood burning fireplace, well equipped kitchen, espresso machine and the most amazing bath tub! Better than the photos.
The apartment is within walking distance to everything within Old Montreal. Notre Dame Cathedral, restaurants, bars, groceries and shops. No need for a car, it remained in the underground parking garage for the majority of our stay.
Elaine was very accommodating and quick to email us with answers to our questions. We were met promptly on our arrival and given a very thorough tour of the apartment.
We will definitely stay here again.
Our family of four (including two twenty-somethings) stayed for a week in this lavish historical setting that has been elegantly upgraded with all the 21st century bells and whistles. One step out the front door and you are literally a few steps from the famous Notre Dame cathedral, restos, coffee bars, butchers, a late night depanneur and a liquor store. While the secure underground parking is a plus, you will not need your car to get around. A subway stop and a large grocery store are a 10-15 minute walk away. The kitchen has everything you need, the en-suite laundry facilities were a bonus and the Internet was both fast and reliable. Five stars- will stay there again if in town for a few days.
Our stay couldn't have been more perfect or memorable. The condo is in the absolute best spot amidst art galleries on Rue St Paul and within a short walk to so many wonderful restaurants and shops and the fabulous Spa Scandinaive. The bathroom at the condo itself is a spa, though, with a jetted tub as big a my bathroom at home, lol. Heated tiles? Purrrr. The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet meal and we totally took advantage of it. There are tons of closets and outlets in the master bedroom, outlets are always a problem when everyone has a zillion personal gadgets, and I usually need power strips, but not here. The architecture and decor is gorgeous. I could have stayed forever.
