The 2nd floor consists of a single bed room, a double bedroom (140cm bed). Both these rooms have a view onto the garden. The 3rd bedroom has a 4 seater sofa and an office. They are 2 occasional mattresses which can be used for additional guests. (80cm wide and 200cm long).. In this room you will find the TV and DVD player and printer.
Our house is situated 2 minutes from the lovely Highbury fields, so the whole place feels very leafy. Highbury fields have a children playground, a gym with a swimming pool. One factor that convinced us to buy the house is the fantastic French bakery at the end of the Road (Peche Mignon). They serve the best baguette and croissants in London and believe us, we have searched!
Ideally situated to explore London for a great city break, Islington itself is a hip, sophisticated destination on the northern edge of Central London. The renowned Almeida Theatre and Kings Head Theatre Pub are in the neighbourhood as are all the main supermarkets, plus endless boutiques, cafes, restaurants, very fine food and antique shops. You’re about a 15 minute walk to Upper Street which is home to a couple of cinemas, many restaurants, cafes, and shops. We are also very close to the Emirates Stadium for the Arsenal football fans!
For transport, we are just a 5 minutes’ walk to 2 tube stations. One is Highbury & Islington from where the Victoria line can take you to the West End in less than 10 minutes but also the Overground line which can take you to the Olympic stadium in 15 minutes. The other tube station is Holloway Road. The Piccadilly line runs through there. You can reach Heathrow airport in approximately 1 hour. It also takes you to Covent Garden in under 15 minutes. At the nearby bus-stop, you’ll find the 43 bus which will take you to London bridge and the famous Borough market (the best food market in England!)
We would hope that the house and garden would receive the care and consideration given to a home rather than a rental unit.
No Smoking, Please.

We have been living in the house for the last 5 years. We bought it as a derelict house and put a lot of work to transform it into our lovely family home. We have a boy and a girl so we are set up for children and can cover toys, books for both gender!
The Owner purchased this house in 2009
Islington simply combines the best of London. It's central yet very quiet, I can hear the birds singing as I write this. But if you want the buzz of restaurants, shops, cinemas, theatres, 5 minutes walk is all it takes.
We are really into cooking so the kitchen is really well equipped and the heart of the house. When the weather allows it, eating on patio is just lovely.
My multi-generational family group of 8 had a lovely stay in Islington (although we were so busy out and about in the city that we hardly spent time in the house other than to sleep!). The house was very comfortable and having only the one bathroom turned out to be less of a problem than anticipated due to the separate WC. The house was a super-convenient 5 minute walk to 2 tube stations, and we felt safe walking home even at night after the theatre. Islington was lively and had everything we needed, and we liked the feeling of being in a real neighborhood rather than somewhere overrun by tourists. The homeowner was very helpful arranging for parking permits and providing other information before our arrival.
My only word of warning: don't plan to arrive by car late in the afternoon on a Saturday during football season when an Arsenal home game is letting out; the streets are closed off, and while the police will let you in if you explain you are a resident, trying to push one's car through the streaming crowds of fans heading the opposite direction is not a lot of fun.
We are a Danish family with grown-up children, who stayed for a week in Ronalds Road.
The house was clean and cosy, and very spacious so we had room enough to be together, but also to be separate.Everything that was promised was there, and in perfect condition.
The little garden provided a great break from our busy London activities.
Location was perfect with close-by access to both Piccadilly and Victoria Line as well as London Overground - we could go everywhere in London in a very short time, including Camden Market and Hampstead Heath. With Waitrose and Tesco nearby, we could easily shop and do our own cooking so that we did not need to eat in restaurants every day.
The owner provided a very good service before the stay and left precise instructions at the house.
It really was home from home for us, and we should love to go again sometime. I have already recommended the place to family, friends, and colleagues.
We stayed in this house early July and had a great time. The kitchen is fully fitted and we ended up spending most of our time in there as it was so comfortable. We managed to cook for 10 people and we were not struggling for space… this doesn’t happen often!
We were lucky with the weather so we used the patio to have our coffees in the morning. It was so peaceful that you forget completely you are staying in Central London.
The house is nicely decorated and feels very welcoming.
There were 7 of us in the house yet we didn’t feel overcrowded so that was good.
The Victoria line was a very good discovery. You can be in the West End in 15 minutes door to door so great location.
We are thinking of spending Christmas in London and I would definitely consider coming back to this house.
