Photos and Description of the Faugeres vacation villa rental Great for Family Holiday this modern villa will easily accommodate 12-14 people

This villa has 6 very large and spacious double bedrooms (3 are en-suite), lounge, kitchen, utility room and additional separate bathroom. There are large external areas including large driveway, heated swimming pool and two separate large patio/sunbathing areas. It is situated in the very small village of Faugeres about 20 minutes North of Beziers. If you like very touristy and busy places then this is not for you. This is a beautiful old French village in the heart of the Faugeres wine growing region. In the village there is a small bar/restaurant, a small grocers shop and a wine shop. There is a tennis court and basketball pitch 2 minutes walk from the house. This is our own private house that we use for our family holidays and is fully equipped with all appliances that you will need for a great relaxing family holiday. Washing machine, Dishwasher, TV (with English channels), video and DVD player, large gas barbeque. Table Tennis table, loads of games and inflatables for the pool.

Nearest Motorway: J35 at 25 Kilometres

The villa is located in the South of France in a National Park and right in the heart of the Faugeres wine growing region with at least 3 vineyards in walking distance and many many more within 20 minutes drive. The nearest beaches are approx. 30 minutes drive away. The large town of Beziers is 20 minutes drive and has every type of shop and facility you can imagine with a huge hypermarket. The nearest supermarket is just 10 minutes drive. There are numerous smaller typical French villages and towns within 20 minutes drive all with great Markets and restaurants. The busy tourist resort of Cap d'Agde with it's great water park is just over 30 minutes drive away. The cosmopolitan city of Montpellier is just 30 minutes drive. Nearest airports to fly into (in order of closeness and none further than 90 minutes drive are) Beziers, Montpellier, Carcassone, Nimes, Perpignan.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 25% plus a security bond of £250 is required with the booking and the remainder is required at least 8 weeks prior to arrival. The bond is refundable upon your return less a deduction for any damage or breakages(except usual wear and tear). Included in the price is all electricity etc. and cleaning of the pool whilst you are there. Bed linen, pillows and duvets are provided as are towels.

We all enjoyed our holiday in Faugeres. The house is very well equipped, with everything you are likely to need to enjoy your holiday. The pool is a good size, and being heated makes it far more enjoyable. You will need a car while staying here, the local shop is very small, as you you expect in a very little village, and the local garage doesn't really stock anything beyond a few drinks. The nearest bakery is only a few minutes drive, and a few minutes beyond that is a supermarket. lots of Caves to stock up on wine as well.

Ben the caretaker was a great chap and made sure we had everything we needed.

So in short a great location just to kick back with a glass of wine and relax.
