An ideal romantic or stress free break:
The beauty of the cove at Els Poblets is that it is perfect for a get away break where you can rediscover yourself. It is still relatively cheap to eat in local restaurants, whilst at the same time it boasts first class cuisine in other establishments.
We have made this accommodation extremely affordable compared to other rental accommodation, as we would like people to enjoy our home, and discover a peace and solitude that is not normally associated with the Costa Blanca whilst at the same time getting a buzz from all the things there is to see and do just a few minutes away, beginning in Denia.
It is truly the perfect place to wind down, readjust, and get back on track, ready to face everything that life throws at you.
Whatever you wish to do, we are a short distance away, and can advise you on the best places to go, the best things to see and do, and other activities and tourist attractions that you might not discover yourself
Good for children?:
In the summer, yes, absolutely. If you want to keep them amused, there is the communal pool, or of course there is the beach 100 metres away from your front door, with no roads to cross to get there. Whilst the beach is of pebbles (ensuring that it is not crowded with tourists' a short walk takes you to miles and miles of sandy beaches in either direction. So you have the best of both worlds - sun, sea, sangria, yet peace and quiet, totally away from hordes of tourists and other people's screaming kids.....
In the winter, there is less for the children to do locally. But then it is a good time to rediscover yourself as a family, going for long walks, visiting the caves, and Guadalest, going ot the local towns to visit the tourist attractions etc. And if the children want to go horse riding etc, we'll show them where the local facilities are.
Why is it so special?:
Els Poblets is steeped in history. It is even said that Christ landed at the beach on his travels, and the beach was a busy port in Roman times, despatching locally made pottery throughout the Mediterranean. Indeed, just behind the house is a fenced off archaeological Roman site, where a large pottery once stood!.
Due to planning regulations, the area has not been built up with high rises, and as a result the tourists do not go there. Most homes are holiday homes owned by the Spanish, laying empty for most of the year, with the occasional weekend visits. So apart from the very height of the season, you really have the whole place to yourselves. Sit on the beach and watch a sun rise or sun set....then you'll appreicate why it's so special..
Golf:
The famous Olica Nova Gold Course designed by Seve Ballesteros is literally just 15 mins away!
Other Activities:
Kayaking, jet skiing quad biking etc available nearby in Summer
