LOG HOME, 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath, (Sleeps 12-16), GUEST TRAILER 3 Bdr (Sleeps 8)

This custom built log retreat in a peaceful mountain setting surrounded by 40 acres of private land is the 10 year project of the owner. Main House sleeps 12 in beds and 16 comfortably and Luxury Guest Trailer sleeps 8 in beds.

MAIN HOME CAN BE RENTED WITH OR WITHOUT LUXURY GUEST TRAILER.

GRANITE countertops, upscale built-in appliances and bar seating in the gourmet kitchen is perfect for family gatherings. Dining area with table seating for a minimum of 8. Another kitchen is located on the lower level adjacent to the recreation room with pool table and comfortable seating for TV/movie watching.

Two story great room with plenty of windows and stone fireplace is great for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor wooded view. SIX PERSON HOT TUB located off lower area recreation room.

Outdoor entertaining beckons with a Large wrap around deck, gas grill and plenty of seating. The outdoor fire-pit stocked with cordwood is the favorite spot for roasting marshmallow and telling stories under the star studded mountain sky.

Close proximity to resorts but without the noise and traffic. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands and Forbes State Forest, a host of recreational pursuits await you from Downhill skiing and snowmobiling to fishing in high mountain lakes and white water rafting.

GUEST TRAILER - Walking trail leading to Guest Trailer with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The very well maintained home sets on 20 level acres with an outdoor campfire area and hammock just for relaxing in the mountain air. The spacious deck with two picnic tables is ideal for outdoor entertainment. Master suite has a Queen bed with a private bath, 2nd bedroom offers a twin bunk, and 3rd bedroom accommodates 4 with two twin bunks. Very nice family room with cable TV and nicely equipped kitchen with hardwood floors.

Built the Cabin for a private mountain retreat that was still close in proximity to Laurel Highlands and resorts. Additional 3 bedroom Guest house available on adjacent 20 acres.

What makes this cabin unique

This property is unique because of its close proximity to resorts and recreation, yet it is nestled among a forest of trees, on a mountaintop that is peaceful, serene and tranquil. It encourages family time and relaxation. The only noise you hear is the rustling of the trees.

We stayed here for a long weekend in late October. It was fantastic! Great house, great deck, great hot tub. Loved the privacy. There are plenty of trails nearby, but we spent the whole time in the house cooking and eating in the nice big kitchen or just hanging out on the deck and in the hot tub. Also, the pool table and other games made it really fun when it started to rain. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend getaway

We rented the cabin for a weekend getaway. It was close enough for golf at Hidden Valley & all the local autumn festivals. The house was really lovely. The children loved playing pool, fishing, the hot tub, & taking walks. The owner was very accommodating & helpful. It was nice to feel at home even though we were away.

Great Weekend

This house was great. It was very secluded. I rented this house for a bachelor party and we all had a great time. There was plenty of stuff/games for us in the house. The fire pit was great too. The owner Jack was very helpful and welcoming to us. The only thing that is confusing is how to work the sound system in the house but Jack left directions that were very helpful. Overall, the house was great and I would recommend it anyone.
