Beautiful light and airy apartment in the heart of historic Florence, with its own private terrace looking out over the roofs of Florence. The apartment is situated in a typical eighteenth century building, tastefully decorated and has its original beamed ceiling. The apartment consists of an open planned living-dining-kitchen area with dining table and double sofa bed. One double bedroom with plenty of cupboard storage space and its own separate air conditioning. Separate mosaic tiled bathroom with shower. A private terrace opens off the living-room through french windows. The terrace is of ample size with table and chairs and retractable sun canopy. The apartment is very quiet and well equipped with air conditioning hot and cold, washing machine, TV, DVD, radio, electric cooker and four gas rings, fridge, electric kettle and toaster. All amenities are within easy reach including supermarkets, restaurants, bars and all kinds of shops.
I fell in love with this apartment on first sight, the roof top view, the fantastic natural light, the silence and the Terrace. The street is full of history right behind the first Medici Palace. After several years living in Florence I was desperate to find a property with natural light, was quiet and had an area outside. A top floor flat was the only answer in the centre of Florence where the Renaissance style means that the streets are very narrow, letting in very little light. The flat was completely run down and I had to re-do everything, including opening up the ceiling to reveal the lovely old beams and roof tiles.
Situated in the historical heart of Florence, with views of the Duomo and Giotto's Bell Tower. Very light and very quiet. The Terrace offers sitting space outside, with a sun canopy.
The apartment is situated right in the heart of old Florence five minutes from the famous Cathedral, the Duomo, the railway station in the very center of Florence. Overlooking the historic nineteenth century fruit and vegetable market (where the locals do all their shopping) and the famous leather market of San Lorenzo. You are in walking distance of every main attraction, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi and Accedemia Musuems not to mention Giotto's bell tower which can be seen from the flat. There are a wide selection of supermarkets just five minutes walk from the flat and every other amenity, bars, restaurants of every type and a wide variety of shops. Lovely piazzas where you can enjoy a meal or a drink al fresco, just outside. You are right in the heart of Florence but you can enjoy the rare pleasure of a Terrace and a very quiet and light flat.
