Approached through olive groves down a quiet country lane Annalena is superbly situated for enjoying the best that the N.E. coast has to offer whilst providing a private and peaceful rural idyll reminiscent of old Corfu. Annalena has an extremely spacious uncluttered interior, furniture is stylish yet comfortable and welcoming offering everything that you could want from a relaxing holiday home. There are shaded and covered terraces outside every room offering stunning sea views. The infinity swimming pool has a stone loggia complete with a fireplace at one end and a shaded dining area for 10 with an outdoor kitchen at the other so you can swim and relax by the pool all day long. There is a jacuzzi hot tub and outdoor shower area with the most magnificent views across to the rising mountains of Albania. The house is superbly equipped and the layout offers spacious accommodation for a large family and a good deal of privacy for two families travelling together.

Situated on the stunning and exclusive N.E. coast of Corfu with it's crystal clear bays and exceptionally good waterside tavernas. Annalena is set within 2 acres of olive, almond and cypress trees between the unspoilt hamlets of Vigla and Porta with countryside walking on the doorstep. There are two local tavernas within easy walking distance. The pretty bay at Kouloura is just over five minutes drive away and has a fantastic taverna. Enchanting bays such as Agni, San Stefanos and Keresia are within fifteen minutes drive, as is the bustling harbour village of Kassiopi with it's array of shops, bars and restaurants offering something for all ages . Motor boat hire is available locally offering the opportunity to explore quiet beaches and rocky coves. Avlaki has an English run sailing and windsurfing school. PADI diving operates out of Kassiopi. Horse riding is available locally. Corfu Town has world heritage status and is well worth a visit for culture and great shopping.

  • The bedrooms are spread over three floors offering a good degree of privacy. The master bedroom is exclusively located on the top floor and is a large stunning room with a pitched ceiling, fireplace and private covered terrace with comfortable outdoor sofas and breathtaking views. The twin bedroom on the first floor is very spacious with a separate sitting area and private covered terrace. The other two bedrooms are next to each other on the ground floor and share a terrace with sea views. All bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers, are en-suite or have a private shower room and all are air conditioned. There are i-pod docks in 3 bedrooms. All linen and towels are provided and is changed twice a week. Pool towels are also provided. A travel cot is available if required.

Notes: The main entrance to the house is on the first floor where you come into the light and airy double height sitting room which has has a rather grand marble fireplace and wrought iron chandelier with a covered dining terrace and a sweeping staircase leading to the master bedroom. The kitchen / dining area with a wood burning stove leads off the sitting room and is equipped with everything you need including an espresso coffee maker. There is also a cloakroom and a very large twin room on this floor. The two remaining bedrooms are downstairs. Additionally on the ground floor there is a comfortable and stylish TV room with a flat screen high definition TV (DVDs only - but lots of DVDs) and Playstation 2 (can be removed if you prefer!). All rooms open onto covered terraces. Bedrooms and TV room are air conditioned. The house has controllable heating and a stunning open fireplace which means it can be enjoyed throughout the year. Cleaning three times a week, daily can be arranged.

This villa is absolutely stunning. Every little detail has been thought about. The information provided by the owner regarding where to go, what to do etc is perfect. We used it as our own little guide book.
We stayed for a week but wished we had booked for longer. It is so peaceful and quiet yet you are only a 10-15 minute drive away from the lovely beaches and tavernas along the eastern coast.
Siting in the hot tub over looking the twinkling lights of the Albanian coast is beautiful.
Hopefully we will return one day

We have just returned from a weeks holiday with two friends in Annalena.
Everything described was totally accurate but until you go you will not appreciate the location/views & peace of this wonderful villa.
The facilities are comprehensive & Janine & Chris have thought of so many small touches to add to the overall experience.The villa is superbly maintained/cleaned by an English lady & the pool & gardens are equally well taken care of. The pool is stunning & together with the Arbour, BBQ area & Hot tub there is no need to venture out; however, the local beaches, especially Kaminaki, are a delight.
Janine was very efficient with the booking arrangements & also gave a lot of "local advice" to enable us to gain the best out of the holiday. The local restaurant, (Panorama ) ,a short walk up the hill, is excellent & run by a lovely local family; grandad cooks traditional meals to a high standard.
We did a lot of miles " cross country " & away from the main roads & we really saw a delightful side of Corfu away from the tourist traps; highly recommended.
All in all a great holiday in a superb villa.

Having stayed in many villas on the NE coast of Corfu, we found this well equipped and highly maintained villa one of our favourites. All items that you could possibly need were immediately to hand and of high quality. We particularly liked the outside area; the pool being an excellent size, outstanding views and a carefully located outside jacuzzi exploiting the wonderful views. The owner of the property provided an excellent service both personnaly and through the staff appointed to run the villa. Its quiet and secluded location makes this villa ideal for a 'get away from it all' break.
