Great week in Sydney!

My wife and I just finished a week staying in Toni and Stephen's apartment. The apartment was EXACTLY what we hoped. Clean, nice space (defitely not huge but plenty of room for the two of us), in a GREAT location. Train station, grocery store, bottle shops, museums, parks, numerous restaurants (definitely check out Almond Bar down the street, fantastic Middle Eastern food and wonderful wait staff) and all of the bars of Darlinghurst (Darlo Bar was my favorite) and Kings Cross within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Expand your walk time to 20 minutes, and you'll find yourself anywhere in the CBD, Quay, or Surry Hills (try Ampersand for breakfast/brunch) that you want to be. If the weather is bad or you have trouble walking too far, the Kings Cross train station can get you anywhere you want to go in the city. From the front door of the apartment to Bondi Beach took us 25 minutes via train and bus.
Toni was great to work with from start to finish. From my initial inquiry into the property, Toni was polite and prompt with all communication. She left a nice note in the apartment welcoming us to town and had the security deposit returned to me within 24 hours of us leaving the apartment (unheard of in my experience!). Every step of the way, Toni acted in a fashion that is truly what you hope for from the owner of the property you rent. If my wife and I ever return to Sydney, we would be more than pleased to rent from Toni again. In fact, it would probably be the first place we looked.
Overall, it was an absolutely lovely experience. Sydney proved to be the exceptional city I had expected it to be and Toni's great apartment served as the perfect crash/launching pad for our week.
