Very quiet apartments just minutes away from all the interesting tourist attractions. Malasaña street itself is packed with great restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as plenty of shops and places of historical interest.

How to get the apartment: How to get to the apartment : from the airport : a 30 minutes journey in the subway that costs 2 Euro per person. Take the 8 line to Nuevos Ministerios, then a short connection to 10 line and get off at tribunal station. Once there, take the exit to Calle Fuencarral and walk two blocks until Glorieta de Bilbao, turn your left in the corner and walk a few meters.

Malasaña Neighbourhood: Malasaña is an area of Madrid famous for its trendy alternative scene. Centred around Plaza Dos de Mayo, it is reminiscent of Camden Town in London, the East Village in New York City, or Bairro Alto in Lisbon, although the layout is quite different and the emphasis is less on shops and more on bars.

Malasaña is to the west of Chueca and to the east of Argüelles. It was the centre of the movida movement in late 1970s and 1980s Madrid.

Malasaña Neighbourhood: Malasaña is a vibrant neighborhood full of lively bars and restaurants overflowing with young people. Its streets are currently being renovated, making it a much more attractive quarter (the streetworks are almost finished). It's one of the classic areas for partying the night away. The area's center is the Plaza del Dos de Mayo (in commemoration of a popular uprising on May 2, 1808, brutally repressed by the French troops and which started the Spanish Independence War). Although popularly known as barrio Malasaña, it is known by residents as Maravillas (Wonders), although its official name is Universidad (University). Malasaña is named after a 15-year old girl Manuela Malasaña who once lived on San Andrés street. She was executed by the French following the uprising in 1808. Today there is a street named in her honour very close to the roundabout Glorieta de Bilbao.

This cozy studio, very well located between the famous districts of Malasaña and Chueca, everything at nearby, metro, walking, a great place to be in Madrid. It consists of a flat space with a double bed, a kitchenette and a living area includes a dining bar table for two people and a living room with a sofa, and a large bathroom with shower. Fuencarral is a bright and very quiet interior studio just minutes away from all the interesting tourist attractions.     ATTENTION: we have a minimum stay of 1 week, and only rent for less when there's a window available in between reservations.

    10€/extra extra child (4-18 years)

    Security deposit: 300€ to 600€

    25% disccount for reservation made less than 10 days to the arrival date

    Booking payment: 25%.
    Balance: Cash/credit card upon arrival (Payment with Credit Card is subject to a 1% charge. 3% Surcharge for payments with American Express).

    Security Deposit:
    at arrival, guests will be asked to pay a security deposit as a guarantee for damages with credit card. This deposit will be refunded automatically 48 hours after the end of the stay.

    Season rates:
    +20.00% for Easter 5 nights min.
    +20.00% for Arco art week.
    +20.00% 1st May weekend 3 nights min.
    +20.00% for Christ
  • Check In:
    When you arrive to the apartment, a FSH team member will provide you with all of the relevant infomation about the property and its surrounding area. You will be asked to sign the rental contract and entry form, show your passport and your credit card and pay the security deposit. You will then be handed the keys to your new apartment in Madrid!

    We ask all of our clients to follow our apartment checkin Policy:
    • Checkin hours are between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.
    • If you would like to checkin before 3:00pm we will do our utmost to acomódate yo. If an earlier Checkin is not posible, you are more than welcome to leave your luggage in the apartment, go out and begin exploring Madrid and return to the aprtment as of 3:00pm.
    • If you would like to Checkin after 9:00pm and additional fee of 30€ will be charged until 11:00pm and Sundays; and any Checkins later that time will be charged 50€.
  • Check Out:
    To ensure that everything goes smoothly, we kindly ask you to indicate your estimated time of departure beforehand sending us an email.

    On the day of your Check Out, you must vacate the apartment before 11:00am. We kindly ask that you inspect the apartment before leaving, dispose of any garbage, and leave the keys on the living room table. Our cleaning team will arrive at 11:00am to clean and to review the apartment inventory.

    If you would like to leave the apartment alter 11:00am we will do our utmost to acomódate your needs; however, it is vital that you inform us your plans in advance. If a late departure cannot be arranged, you are more than welcome to leave your packed luggage in the apartment and return to pick up befote 3:00pm.

    Season rates:
    +20.00% for Easter nights min.
    +20.00% 1st May Holidays 3 nights min.
    +20.00% for Gay pride
    +20.00% for christmas and new year eve, 7 nights minimum stay.

Þægileg lítil íbúð rétt við metróið. Örfáar mínútur í allt. Þar sem ég var í 4 vikur þarna, kostaði hún helming á við sæmilegt hótel. Allt til alls þarna. Þvottavél, þurrkari, sjónvarp, örbylgja og eldavél. Matvöruverslanir og veitingahús í seilingarfjarlægð.

Good value for money.

Quaint studio apt located in even quainter building just a stone's throw from Bilbao metro station. Stayed with two toddlers and very much enjoyed taking them to the "Plaza" just around the corner to mix and play with other kids there in the playgrounds (there are 3 in this square and a special toddler area for the very small!) I highly recommend browsing the second hand bookshop and delicious bakery also in this area. All in all, the apt is well equipped and well located. There is a little noise in summer due to the fact that the street houses several small restaurants however the studio is located at the back of the building, set apart from the hustle and bustle of the street.

Excellent Apartment in a fantastic area

This apartment is fantastic and in an excellent location. As we were travelling for the first time with our 10 month old we were a bit nervous, but needn't have been. The apartment is so clean and has everything you need for self-catering, saucepans, fridge / freezer, washing machine. The area is lovely, it's in a residential location so it feels safe and homely, but you still get the nice city buzz and atmosphere. There are lovely kids parks along the street which are busy until late at night. There is also a fantastic supermarket just a short stroll away and it has everything you need and is not expensive. The apartment is right across the road from the metro, even the google map dosen't justify just how close the metro is to the apartment, which makes getting about so easy, you really can get to the main tourist sites in a matter of minutes. Gabriel, the owner, was so helpful, he met us on arrival and made sure we were settled in and was on hand if we needed anything durung our stay. He gave us some useful tips on places to eat and shop nearby and it was very reassuring to know we could contact him if we needed anything.
I really can't recommend this apartment enough, we had a fantastic stay and would definately return to madrid and especially to this apartment.

Beautiful flat in the Malasana

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Madrid. The property managers were very gracious and helpful. The flat is very cute and cozy, and is located perfectly- we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were able to feel "like locals" and experience all that the Malasana has to offer!

Great base in Madrid

The studio we rented was in a great location: quick, easy access on the metro and from the major inter city train station, walking distance from the centre, all the galleries and sites etc, as well as within close proximity to good bistros, restaurants and a supermarket. It was quiet, clean, bright and well equipped. The booking process was efficient and the owner most helpful. I would recommend the place as a great base for a stay in Madrid.
