There is a large open plan living room with a high quality kitchen offering granite work service, breakfast bar, integrated fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Ceramic hob with hood. Oak wood strip flooring to living room, kitchen and hall, central heating. Washer dryer, linen and towels included. Secure underground car park with lifts to all floors, security gates and doors with video entry system. Large living room with fantastic views of Bideford Bay, sliding French door onto the balcony. 36' wide screen LCD TV with freesat and DVD. Immediate access from the flat to the fantastic Blue flag Westward Ho! beach which is great for surfing, boarding, kiting and swimming. Central base to access Appledore, Instow, Woolacombe, Croyde, Braunton, Saunton and of course Cornwall for Bude. Fast coastal road 4 minutes away. Bideford town a five minute drive and Barnstable about 20 minutes away by car. Many local attractions including the Big Sheep, Milky Way Adventure Park,Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Northam Burrows County Park. Lundy Island can be reached by ferry from Bideford, it is an island three and a half miles long and half a mile wide and rises steeply from the sea. Lundy is famous for its seabirds, including a few breeding pairs of the puffins which gave the island its name (Norse for Puffin Isle) but there is also a wealth of other animals and plants on the island and in the waters around it. RHS Rosemoor is also about half an hour drive away.

  • * A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure the apartment.
    * The balance is due four weeks before arrival.
    * For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full.
    * Only Saturday to Saturday bookings in August.
    * Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
    * The apartment is non-smoking, though smoking is permitted in outside areas.
  • * We also request a £100 returnable deposit to protect against damage, this will be returned after the cleaner has checked the property as long as it is tidy and in good condition.

    * The deposit and balance are not refundable if cancellation is within six weeks of arrival. If the cancellation occurs we will endeavour to re-let the property and if this is possible the cancellation fee will be refunded.

Notes: Additional Information- Being a single story penthouse apartment on the second floor it has the advantage of sea views from both the master bedroom and living room. Both have full height French windows onto a 38ft balcony. Beautifully furnished with a 2 leather sofa's and a chaise lounge to take in then views and relax. A 36' flat screen TV with FreeSat and DVD player with a selection of DVD's to play and some light reading holiday books. There is also a Radio, CD player and IPod docking station. The modern kitchen is complete with electric oven/ grill, hob, built in fridge and separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The work surface is granite with the benefit of having a breakfast bar and stools with a wine rack at the end (wine stock not included!). A washer / dryer is in the hall cupboard. There is a dining area which has a solid oak extending table and six leather chairs.

What a fantastic place, the apartment was even better than the pictures (if that's possible!). We didn't want for anything, the apartment had absolutely everything we needed and more. When we first arrived and opened the door i was stunned by the view, it was truly amazing, i couldn't stop looking at it! To be so close to the sea was such a treat. Lovely welcome basket and flowers were a nice touch. Weather was also brilliant which made our break perfect. Overall i would say it rates as one of my best UK breaks and i will definately be back.

Excellent flat with amazing views

The flat is every bit as good (and better) than the images on the website. The views are truly stunning and the flat is immaculate - modern and extremely well equipped and furnished. I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone as a brilliant base for exploring North Devon.

Our 13-year old son is in a wheelchair, and there were no issues with access. Likewise, our 19-year old son was very impressed with the Wi-Fi, modern furnishings and the up-to-date equipment.

The whole experience from booking to leaving was problem free and efficient.

Highly recommended!

This Apartment definately has the "Wow" factor, beautifully situated, beautifully furnished and equipped and beautiful views, so clean and tidy plus a welcome pack
WestwardHo and surrounding area has lots to see and do, lovely villages and coastal walks
We had a fantastic time and have no hesitation in recommending it, and look forward to going back there

Stunning apartment in Westward Ho!

We've just come back having spent 5 days in the apartment in Westward Ho! and - WOW!! 'Stunning' is just not strong enough a word for the apartment and location.

The apartment is beautifully furnished with fab views of the beach so you really can wake up in the morning and watch the waves on the beach from bed. The apartment block is very secure with parking underneath and Pat showed us around so we knew where everything was. Also James (the owner) was lovely and attended to our every need before we arrived.

We loved sitting on the balcony at night listening to the waves and watching the world go by - we will definitely be booking again....probably several times!

Highly recommended for all types of people/reasons to get away from it all. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did! :-)

Ideal for families!

We spent a weekend at this beautiful apartment recently with our 2 young children (aged 3 & 10 months) & were not disappointed. When we first walked in we were stunned by not only the fantastic views & scenery but by how modern, stylish & clean the apartment was. It really was a pleasure to stay here. There is everything that you could possibly need, right down to a highchair & cot for the baby as well as a well stocked kitchen including plastic cups, plates & cutlery for the kids! I was surprised too that the furniture & crockery etc were all of really nice quality which you don't normally find with holiday accommodation. The beds were particularly comfortable (we don't normally sleep well away from home but we did here!) Overall we had a fantastic time (kids loved The Big Sheep& the rockpools!) & would heartily recommend it to all. We will be going back, minus the kids, so that we can enjoy the sunsets, sat on the balcony, in peace!
